Unhappy Weight loss rash

Hi, guys!
For a couple og years now, whenever I start to loose some weight I get a rash. It usually starts in my neck and chest area, and then just spreads downwards onto my stomack, arms and back. I have gone to doctors, and they assure me that it has absolutely nothing to do with weight loss. However, I only get this rash when I am trying and loosing weight. Does anyone have had a similar problem? The rash disappears when I start eating more carbs and food in general.

I have no background in health or nutrition, so take this with a grain of salt, but is there something you eat or do only when you're trying to lose weight? That sounds like an allergic reaction to me, or maybe a heat rash from sweating while exercising.

Yes, I do not think there is anything that "absence" of will cause a rash. Often essential vitamines can be taken care of with a simple multi-vitamin. When you are trying to find what you are allergic to (i.e. causes a rash) you might eliminate foods to find if the lack of them will stop the rash. But eliminating foods rarely would cause a rash. Therefore I would speculate that you eat something extra or different (like eat more nuts, or switch the kind of nuts you eat) when losing weight that would cause the rash. Does this make sense? (not sure). Like I have a grass allergy that only causes me a rash when I sit on grass. Eliminate sitting on grass, and the rash is never seen. Sit on the grass, and the rash will appear within an hour or so.

Thank you for advice! I have been alergy tested and I don't eat any differently then usual, just smaller portions. I tought I had alergy to paprika, since I increased my consumption of it when I was trying to lose weight, but I don't have a rash when I'm eating paprika to maintain my weight.
I have read something about a keto-rash. Not sure if I have it, but do any of you have heard about it?
The rash is so raw and itchy that I almost want to give up my weight loss, but I don't want to
Oh, and I do exercise, but I haven't been for almost a week now( exams), so haven't been sweating a lot either..

I have heard of keto rash. Google that, or "low carb rash" and read about it. It might tell you how to handle it. It's possible that it's rare, because of all the people I know of who are eating low carb, I haven't heard of anyone specifically say they experience it. Good luck to you.

I came out in a dreadful blotchy rash when I tried the Cambridge diet. I was told it was due to low carbs.
