Happyand all- They gave me prevacid- It is expensive. My sister is taking it and she says it really has helped her. I think they will come up with a diagnosis Of IBS or Gastritis. They said irritated stomach. My symptoms are exactly the same as the ones described in my materials here at home. I have only taken two capsules so far so it will take at least a week to see if they will help. Not today for sure...
I don't know how,because I haven't eatten hardly anything this week that wasn't liquid, but I gained 1 1/2 lbs. My sister thinks it was all the fluids they pumped into me at the surgery center.I can't win for losing!

I've been awol a bit because dh whisked me away for a little respite (the tears were too close to falling). We had a lovely time at an inn north of Baltimore and went into Inner Harbor a bit too. Had to come back though. Gave him his shot last night. Hope it perks him up. He drove me to the nursing home today (about an hour and 3/4 each way the way we've been going to avoid lots of construction on the interstate). I haven't driven the new car yet so he wouldn't let me help drive. So tomorrow I'll take it out. Ten days old before I get time to drive it!!

Mom's up and down. When she has therapy she's so exhausted and has trouble breathing. Today she seemed pretty good but it's not a get-your-hope-up kind of thing.

Maintaining fairly well. I think it's a time to be kind to me and not force the diet issue until things settle a bit. Do things ever really settle?

I bought minutes for my son's cell phone so I wouldn't sit up one more time worrying about him..... So last nite I called and he did not have the phone on. When he got home I was livid. He said "I shut it off when I was late cause I knew you were going to call and yell at me". Arghghghghghg

Well that day is here Meme. Joanne, I have some med called dicocloxine-not the right speliing-little blue capsules that calm my stomache down-you know stomache problems go with fibro. Right now I'm having trouble and we are going away and then I go to work-not good. By the way, my job is one that I can say no to. I like to see the people but if I have something else to do I don't sign up-and we stay at a nice hotel, That was nice of hubby. Anagram, You definitely need it-Meme-do the same-your hubby likes to go away. That was good info on RVing. Anne. Brad fouind out that he doesn't need anything extra on his truck to pull it. And I wondered why he bought such a big truck when he was going to retire and now it works out!!!Candice-what is happening? Watched a great movie-The Pilot's Wife-I had read the book and it's great. If you all like comedys, watch Serving Sarah with Matthew Perry. It was really good, light comedy. Catch Me If You Can was good, too, but very, very long! 2hrs. & 20 min. Analyze That was one of the worst movies I've seen in a while! I've been nearly 'Widowed' the last few weeks while hubby has been working on our new church building so I've been 'catching up' on the movies I've missed the last year or so. I rented How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days last night ... haven't watched it yet. 2 Weeks Notice was one of the best ones I've seen! I wanted to go to the theater and see Legally Blonde 2 and Charlie's Angels 2. Guess I'll have to wait for them to come out of video!

We're close to being in our new church building. Probably about 3 or 4 more weeks should do it! I'm going to make some progress pictures tomorrow and put them on our church webpage. I'll post the site here so you can see it. It's not our final place of worship. We are just building a fellowship hall for now. We will have a very large area that will seat a little over 200 for the worship area that will be 2 stories high on one side then a kitchen, bathrooms & pastor's study with 5 sunday school rooms upstairs on the other side. Then, in a couple of years, we plan to build our sanctuary in front of this building and use it for a fellowship hall/gym. The land we are building on cost us $100,000 and the building we are putting up now, furnished, is costing us OVER $100,000 - so ... we are going to have to get all that paid for first!

Took the day off to go shopping but my aunt is in the hospital and I am waiting to call to see if they will discharge her so I can drive down and take her home. This has been the worst year for her, her husband died in March...now she has been diagnosed wit Congestiv HEart Failure and many other things. I think she is sorry they ever found all this stuff...better off not knowing.
Meme.....when do you have silence? Both my kids are working. It is too quiet around here.... Not really.

I must be melting here. I must be losing at least some weight . I am so hot and I ache everywhere. I can't stand this heat. Thank goodness this is the last of it for this round. Tomorrow and the next few days will be a few degrees cooler.

We went to see Legally Blonde 2 tonight to celebrate. That was a good one!

Hoping to have a leisurely weekend here. Off to a good start. Can't make up my mind what to do next. Am trying to pay no attention to the "musts" and "shoulds" today and figure out what the "wants" and "feel likes" are. A bit achy from incoming rain but I can live with that if I'm taking it easy. Or maybe achy from all the car rides.

Finally drove our new car yesterday. That was fun. Have put it off until I felt I could enjoy it and I did.

Glad I'm not babysitting anyone full time, Meme. I'm still recovering from last weekend. My muscles especially. Must remember how I feel after I lift that three year old a few times. But she's such a charmer, I can't resist. But I really hurt this week from hoisting her.

Had an email from nurse sister whose week was so brutal with getting Mom settled, rearranged, etc. and with inspectors in home. She said she got home, told dh she was glad she had no grandchildren to babysit over the weekend and was just going to rest. He told her to listen to her answering machine, his sister TOLD them she's coming today until Tuesday (FOR AN EVENT SHE'S OBVIOUSLY KNOWN ABOUT FOR SOME TIME). Watch out, Meme.

Well here I am baby-sitting my son's dog. My son went to New Orleans for the weekend. I would think I would be sitting some G/children! He is a good dog though. Just getting old. I think my son will be one of those men who hang on till the last breath. He loves his dog. He won't leave him any place but with me.
Meme- Enjoy your freedom... I am not a big T V person,but, I do like the movies. I rather watch them at home. We usually wait till they come out on cable . Sometimes we rent some. A lot of times the son will rent and pass them on to us.
Happy- What is the temp. up there? It is in the 90's here. Very humid..
Ally- I love the silence. When my hubby turns off the TV and goes out to do something in the yard,I sigh with relief.
Anagram- I would love to just go to a beach and not do anything for awhile. My hubby keeps saying we will, but, so far we haven't made it. I live 1 1/4 miles from the Gulf . I don't know why I just don't go there. It just isn't the same.
Mima- I am waiting for this med to kick in. As much as it cost ,it should help..I really want the answer to the cause. I was searching the net and it looks like I will have to give up my caffeine coffee. I will change over slowly. I found that there are a lot of things food wise that can trigger these problems. I was just glad to hear there were no other problems.

Well...today I slept in. Then cooked a couple of dishes and took to new church site. Ladies fed the men that were working today ... we stayed and ate with them. Did a little shopping, got the van washed and back home. Spent all my money at Office Max. Got this new gel pen that fits on the end of your finger! What are they gonna think of next? Going to color my hair and do a little house work and watch my movie. My daughter and I will rent and exchange, too. We save a lot that way. We went out to eat together Thursday night (girl's night out at Red Lobster) and went to Block Buster. We each got a movie that's not due back for a week... we will watch and then trade.

Hope you all have a good Sunday! It's my son's BD tomorrow... He's getting old ... 37! We're all going out this year ... I'm getting old too! Too old to throw a big party for him like I used to!!!

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days is a must see! It was as good as 2 Week's Notice. Hubby stayed awake during the whole thing after working hard at church all day!!! The best testimonial I know of for a movie!!!

Well. I liked Analyze That but we love Dinero. Joanne-red sauce irritates me! Of course, I love it. What a nice weekend-mission conference-inspiring people and so real. We support them but we met a lot of people who go to Afghanistan, Lebanon, India-Asian countries. The group is called Interserve. Nondenominational. Mima- I can't eat red sauce either. It always seem to upset my stomach. I have been doing some research and there are a lot of things I have been eating that probably not good for me. I an slowly trying to get control and do some changing in my eating plans.
