Angry Happy Spring

Spring has sprung, the grass is ris!

Well, at least the snow is melting

I hope you are holding up well during this time of unrest. I am keeping the TV to a minimum. I hate a steady diet of it all.

Joanne - hope it stays off and continues to go downward.

Mima - I hope you get the IBS or whatever under control. That is just so nasty.

Meme - I hope you are much better today. That is also nasty.

Candice - where in the world are you?

Ally - All that work! Do you still have more to renovate?

Serenity - Nice to have you back. Sorry to hear you have not been well.

Anagram - Hello. I take it all is going well for you and your hubby. Spring is here, so maybe we will all be able to get out soon and enjoy this nice weather.

Fell today and hurt my knee..hope I do not have to go to the doc! My knees are all that is left on me that is any good!

Still eating well but no loss.

Got my son settle in kinda..the drawers are full since there is no closet space! He is gone most of the time but I cooked for him and DH tonight and my son called and wasn't coming home till later and Dh was late with a customer. I hate making food when I do not have too! For me I just open a can of tuna and make a light cheese melt and a salad. Only 4 pts! Doing laundry tonight with my hurt knee cause inthe morning who knows! I wrapped it and iced it but it still hurts. Two falls on the same knee in 2 months! Such a cluts always catching my foot on something and down I go!

Had that 6 month follow up mamo..hope it turns out to be nothing!

I hope it turns out to be nothing, too, Candice...PRAYING!!!

Praying about the war, too...and trying to watch but not too much...gets on my nerves! (the one I have left!)

Still have the lingering virus...only went 3 times today...had to take Imodium in WalMart Tonight. I'm soooo weak. I've lost 4 pounds since last Sunday...part of that is probably the new medicine, though.

My house is totally upside down. Had the carpet layed in the piano room on Wednesday and have all the funiture put back. I've layed out all the new Home Interior stuff on the funiture and in the floor like I want it put up. Hope to get it all on the walls tomorrow. We moved a bunch of stuff around in the "WRECK" room tonight so hubby can wire for the stove tomorrow morning. It truly is a WRECK right now. Everything is just piled out in the middle of the floor. I have a huge kitchen cabinet we took out of my mom's mobile home when she first got it. She had new cabinets made. We had to take everything out of it to move it down and make room for our old stove and refigerator. The frig is a big side-by-side so we had to move it a long ways! Now I have all that stuff to put back tomorrow. The more I 'clean' the worse my house seems to look! The carpet layers told me hubby will have to take up all the baseboards upstairs. That is going to take forever. I stained and finished all of them to match the doors...which I also stained and finished. He'll have to be really carefull not to break any because I can't replace them! I've already spent over $10,000 and I was figuring tonight...I have to buy another file cabinet for the piano room, 2 end tables and 2 lamps...finish paying the carpet layers (I think that's going to be about $700 more) and there's about $100 more Home Interior stuff I'd like to have plus a couple of rugs for the basement, a stove hood and paint for the living room and dinning room. I'm about broke!!!

It's after 12...gotta go to bed...Hope your knee is ok Candice. Both of mine are terrible so I can sympathize!

But it will be pretty, Meme-I had that virus for about 4 days also-gingerale helped-that;s when I found out my hormones were making me nauseous. I shut the tv off-haven't seen any of my shows-not that it matters-but we need diversion. Stomache is better-it's been so nice-70 yesterday-don't even miss FL-daughter coming home today-you need to rest your knee, Candice.and ice and stay off it-least for a day or 2. WE take care of everyone except ourselves. Have a good day all!!!Mima

Angry Hello

Candice, I hope you are ok and that you only shook yourself up and that by today your knee is feeling better.

Meme - You will get it done - all it takes is time and lot's of money

Well spring is here. It has been so nice and I can see the ground. We went walking tonight - to the Dairy Queen. I had one of those Pecan New Orleans things and was it ever good. At least I had to walk there and back (just over a mile or so).

Well, ladies, the 23 is my birthday and I will reach the ripe old age of 57. I am going out for brunch tomorrow morning so that will be nice. My kids are all sick, so they will stay away, which is very nice of them, as I sure don't want anything they have:lol

Everybody have a nice day.

Happy BD Anne...hope you had a good day!

My aunt died today so I'll be off to NC tomorrow. Her funeral is Tuesday. This medicine is making me feel really weird...like the world is tilted part of the time and I never know when it's going to tilt! And everything tastes like rust. YUCK. I don't even like to eat now...nothing tastes good...not even coke...but I think that's the gold pills instead of the topamax. I'm tired all the time and I'm soooo sleepy. But...at least I haven't had a headache all week. And I lost 4 1/2 pounds last week and I wasn't even trying! Gotta go finish packing and see if I can get a few hours sleep.

Sorry about your aunt, Meme. You seem to have a lot of relatives. And then we get to the age where the older ones are dying-sad. Had a funny day yesterday-daughter forgot about plans-she had been in FL-and she had made other plans-son thought it was 4:30 insted of 2-stepson did too so they didn't come because stepgrandaughter needs 2 days to get ready. So I sat with 4 m4n who couldn't stop discussing the war!!!But it was ok -definitely tired today from SUGAR!!!Freezing the cake. Candice-how's your knee. Have a great day Anne. Hope you feel more up Joanne-I'm sure you are worried about your grandson. Brad, who was in the Navy, says you are safer on a ship-hope that's true in your case. Bye and hello everyone else. Mima

Nearly ready to go. Hubby will be home in 2 hrs. Yes Mima, both my parents had large families...my mother's being very large. My dad had 4 brothers and 1 sister, he only has 2 brothers left now. My mother had 2 brothers, 6 sisters, and 5 half brothers and sisters. She has 1 brother and 4 sisters left now since aunt Pauline died (and, of course their spouses). And I don't even want to think about how many cousins I have! I've always been really close to my aunts and uncles so attending a funeral isn't an option. I guess I'm just lucky I live as close as I do. It only takes about 4 hrs. to drive over to NC from here if you don't stop for anything. I try to go for all the big events like funerals, weddings and decorations. Occasionally a graduation...depends on who it is.

Gotta get off here and finish getting ready!

Default Hey There

Happy- Throw in a few tears and yes that is how I was feeling yesterday. Today I feel great. Did my laundry.,picked up around the house and went for a walk. Some days I feel stronger than others.
Meme, Sorry about your aunt. What was her age? One thing about funeral, weddings etc, you see all the relatives. That in a way is good ,sometimes.
Mima- I guess we all get those days when we feel we can't cope with one more upset. But you know we as the leaders in the household must smooth over the upsets and go on. Makes me eat more , as if that is going to solve everything!!!I just get tired of being the backboard, sometimes.
Hello Ally ,Candice ,and all.
Annagram - How are you. Are you coming to Fl. this year?
Well, Got to go find my book. Pretty good historical about Russia during the German invasion in Russia. Late 30's early 40's. Pretty brutal and sad...Just what I need to read to pick me up!!!
Bye,Joanne
