FREDDIE...WHERE IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU BEEN??? BEEN MISSING YOU!!!
Marlene...sounds like you had quite an ordeal. I agree with Joanne...just find another group if you can. I, too, sell Avon but I haven't gotten myself into a situation like that! My daughter sells a lot at the hospital where she works but our deal was that I'd give her 20% of what she sells in merchandise. It has worked really well so far.
Mima...hope you are feeling better!
You, too, Joanne...hope it's just a cold! Funny you should say you think Kaylyn looks like me...actually...when I was 3...I looked exactly like Jenna (the blonde) except my hair was lighter. I have a picture of me when I was about that age and when the other grandchildren saw it they thought it WAS Jenna. (She's a big ham and everybody says she ACTS like me, too!!!) She'd rather stay with me than at home...but, I guess...if grandparents are allowed to have a favorite...mine would be Ross (6 yr. old on left). Partly because of him being bipolar but he's special to me in a lot of ways. I kept him 10-11 hrs. a day 5 days a week and a lot on the weekends from ages 0-3...I guess you'd say we bonded!
We went to Red Lobster and ate yesterday then went to the movie. Saw Two Week's Notice. It was sooooo funny. You all HAVE to see that movie!!! I ate lobster, shrimp, fries, and cheese bread then about 2 hrs. later had popcorn! BAD MEME! NONONO!
Well...it is nearly 2 PM and I haven't eaten anything yet today...trying to make up some for yesterday...guess I'd better go see what I can find that isn't too fattening! (Yeah..right...with all the leftover junk in the fridge I'm sure THAT is going to happen!!!) Hubby is saying he wants to go on a diet next week...he is diabetic and his sugar has been high this week plus he's gained a little weight in the last couple of months. I asked him last night what kind of diet he wants to go on ... there's low carb, low fat, low cholesterol, calorie counting, sugar excluding, etc. etc. etc. He said low carb AND low fat! Won't that be fun!!! So...have to hurry and eat that last pumpkin pie left in the fridge before Monday!!!
Meme....Is Ross the one in camophlage? He looks like my sons. And he reminds me of my kids at that age. His parents have a lot to look forward to when he is a teen
I bought half price chocolate at the store yesterday, do you believe that?
Sugar is my enemy But after this, I am done til the next holiday when I find candy half price
I keep buying Christmas bargains. I don't know why I do this. I have way too many gift bags and bows...but I can't pass up a bargain. I bought Christmas cards at the Outlet Mall. They have a paper store and you can pick out individual cards. In the end I got 20 for $2.50 and they are big and heavy and very nice. However...I still have 20 from last year.
Hi! This is my first time writing to a forum based e-mail.I saw your headliner and thought perhaps we might hook up if possible!I'm redicating my efforts to get healthy but have some health challenges which hold me back alittle.Namely, recent knee surgery and ongoing challenges of Fribromyalgia. If your interested in writing,I would enjoy hearing from you.

I have just been so tired and go to bed early every evening. Today I went to a funeral that was 55 miles away. Got lost but just made the services in time. Got home about 10 minutes before it got real dark and I am not supposed to drive at night. Traffic wasn't too bad but I am a wreck.
Freddie...well, it's good to have you back, anyway! I know what you mean about being tired all the time. My blood count is so low I just don't feel like doing anything except sleeping (and eating leftovers, of course!)
E...I've had surgery on both knees...not replacements, though. What kind of surgery did you have?

Yesterday I had a cookie free day but today I am wanting them really bad! I also banked 5 yesterday so it was a very good day eating..now new years....Hummmmm! Gotta have a cookie or two then! I know I'm up a few but retaining fluid too right now..dumb meds!
Hi guys-my husband just got on the scale and he lost all his extra weight and I got on the scale and it hasn't moved in 3 days-tell me not to get on!!!!!!!!!!!!We are going to Venice so it will be cooler than FM.Of course I can't walk right now but I'm feeling a bit better and we are going out to eat with my brother and his wife, Maybe I can walk later. Mima ps Hi everyone
I thought it would help to know there are others out there.
WE ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!They have finally found a diagnosis
for my condition. Hooray!!
I have recently been diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D.-- Age
Activated Attention Deficit Disorder...
This is how it goes: I decide to wash the car; I start
toward the garage and notice the mail on the table. Ok, I'm
going to wash the car.
But first I'm going to go through the mail. I lay the car
keys down on the desk, discard the junk mail and I notice
the trash can is full.
OK, I'll just put the bills on my desk and take the trash
can out, but since I'm going to be near the mailbox anyway,
I'll pay these few bills first.
Now, where is my checkbook? Oops, there's only one check
left.My extra checks are in my desk.
Oh, there's the coke I was drinking. I'm going to look for
those checks.
But first I need to put my coke further away from the
computer, oh maybe I'll pop it into the fridge to keep it
cold for a while.
I head toward the kitchen and my flowers catch my eye, they
need some water. I set the coke on the counter and, uh oh!
There are my glasses. I was looking for them all morning!
I'd better put them away first.
I fill a container with water and head for the flower pots -
- Aaaaaaugh! Someone left the TV remote in the kitchen.
I'll never think to look in the kitchen tonight when I want
to watch television so I'd better put it back in the family
room where it belongs.
I splash some water into the pots and onto the floor, I
throw the remote onto the sofa and I head back down the
hall trying to figure out what it was I was going to do?
End of Day: The car isn't washed, the bills are unpaid, the
coke is sitting on the kitchen counter, the flowers are
half watered, the checkbook still has only one check in it
and I can't seem to find my car keys! When I try to figure
out how come nothing got done today, I'm baffled because I
KNOW I WAS BUSY ALL DAY LONG!!!
I realize this is a serious condition and I'll get help,
But first, I think I'll check my e-mail...
I had this 30 something woman today ask me if I thought she had early signs of Alzheimers. She listed off all the things she forgets etc. She is home schooling 3 kids. Told her that my kids drained my brain. I know I used to be a lot smarter. Told her to send the kids to school, and get out in the world. She said that when her husband gets home she is standing in the door way with her keys..
My job is my R&R...then I come home to two 17 year old Ross's....
Well it is back to work tomorrow. Will check in New Years. See you next year all.
Well, Christmas went well. We got home late Friday, but I have been so busy with my little grand daughter with me. She has so much energy, and I don't. Not a winning combination I am afraid
Had tons of food, some good, some not so good (well extremely good really, just not so good on Atkins). Had too much turkey - 3 dinners in 3 days!!!!! I like turkey, but sometimes, it can get to be too much. Dressing on the other hand, is never too much.
Mima - I hope you are feeling better. You really don't need to get sick now!
Meme - what good pictures. I will post one of my grand daughter as soon as I can get my scanner to work again. It doesn't want to load into my new computer. I have taken out the old driver and gone to the site and downloaded the new one, but it is still no go. I will have to contact Cannon and ask them about it.
Ally - It's chocolate season!!! so is the next one. I decided to eat some this time. Not so big on it at Valentines.
Joanne - Glad you had a good Christmas. I had no stress at all, so enjoyed every minute of it. Even won a few games of cards.
Freddie - Nice to see you back with us. That was a long drive, and I am glad you made it home safetly.
Marlene - Keep up the good work. We all learn things as time goes on.
Candice - cute snowmen. I love them. Glad you had a good Christmas, and no expanding waistline.
Welcome to Someone Special. Hope you decide to join us.
Well, I just want to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I may not get back until the New Year.
