I was wondering if anyone has ever taken Cimzia? I have Crohns disease and my doctor is wanting me to start on this. I know they also give this to people who have arthritis.
I have read a lot of information about it- but there is nothing like hearing first hand from someone who has actually taken it. My biggest question is will it cause weight gain the way other meds for autoimmune diseases do? I also read where in the beginning it can cause pain in the legs- this worries me. Needles does not bother me at all- I am use to that. My disease is moderate- the Cimzia is to help with the symptoms. I read with some people it puts them in a remission.
I realize every body is different and the way we each respond to medication varies- but what has been your experience with it? I'm trying to decide if it is worth trying.
