Ally...just keep telling yourself...only 2 more years of school, only 2 more years of school! It will be gone before you know it! Then the knuckle heads will (supposedly) be adults!!!

I know it isn't funny to worry about kids like that but you'll drive yourself nuts if you don't look at the big picture. They will be grown men with wives and kids in a few years and this period will all be behind you...then you can start worring about your grandchildren!

Life goes by too fast when you're having fun and not fast enough when you're having problems!!!!!!!

Hi Fellow Lead Footer Ally:

A year and a half of being real careful! And I thought 12 months was bad. I have to go to some kind of Traffic School that charges $50 for the 8 hour course from 8 to 5. I understand we get several breaks and an hour for lunch. Don't know whether we get a test at the end or not. I will have to go early so I can sit near the front in case they have slides. I am so nearsighted that I won't be able to see anyway. I took, a couple of years ago, an AARP 2-day course for $5 just for the heck of it or maybe they said if I took it I would get something off my car insurance. I got there late (on time really) and had to sit in the back row and got nothing out of the class but a few dollars were deducted from my State Farm Insurance.

Hey There

Effenbee- Don't worry about it!!From what I hear if they get your 50 dollers and you are there that is all that counts.
Ally - I have a 44 year old kid going on 16.. That is what I told him last night. He said D--- right.. They don't grow up. He has a 31 year old girl friend now and you can take it from there.
Meme- I am waiting for the G/children. The two my daughter has are grown now.
Mima- It is supposed to take 7 days for a cold no matter what you take for it.. I hope you feel better soon.
Anagram- I am not sure about scheduling. My Daughter has to have surgery after the first of the year and I want to be there. I guess I can hold out till then.. It is not easy, but , I feel she is going to need me. I think she may have a hysterectomy.
Hello Happy,Candice...Bye...Joanne

Joanne: I really wasn't worried about the class - just worried about getting there and finding a parking place. I probably could teach the class (hehehe).

You are a riot Frddie-I can't believe they gave you a ticket. Brad didn't get home til after midnight-installing a heating system so he's already taking a morning nap. No church today!!Too bad pastor goes right by the house to get to church. I'm sure he would agree that Brad needs to rest. Winding down for vacation. I finally feel better-4 days of rotten-now just sniffles. Docs office is closed til Tues so I couldn't get my tests for thyroid. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. What is the temp in your neck of the woods in Jan, Joanne. I always thought it was cool but it won't be cold like here. Although it is warm today-Bye for now. MimA

HI Mima: I can't believe the officer gave me a ticket either for going 36 mph. If I had been young and cute, I would have gotten by with a warning only. The penalty for old age!

Hey There

Mima- The weather varies here in Jan. I have seen it really cold and really warm. Cold for me is under 50. If you are going south of me it could range between 50- 70ish.
Effenbee- You probably could teach the class. You will probably see some of them sleeping.. I get my information from my son.. I have never had a ticket. Luck I guess. I tend to have a lead foot too.. When I drive, My hubby seems to think his male ego says he has to drive. HA!He scares the life out of me most of the time..
Hello All...I hope you are having a good day..Joanne

I saw the type of people in the Traffic Court room. You are right, they will probably sleep if we have movies or slides. I don't intend to sleep.

Freddie..years ago I went to traffic school and I actually enjoyed it..learned something too! Most did sleep through it and were very young! (can't remember it but at the time I know I did!)

Effenbee 11-11-2002 04:01 AM

I will let you know how it goes Candice. Traffic school will be in 6 more days.
