  • Hi Girls,

Well went to hospital this morning for my blood tests to find out why I am in such pain. Maybe ME again or my thyroid playing up. Have had such a lot of stress as you knoow so it could be anything. Have to go back next Wednesday for the results. Havent weighed myself lately have been too down but I did notice this morning that my trousers were quite loose around my tum so perhaps some has come off I will get weighed next week as well. You all seem to be busy with everything going on. I on the other hand seem to be hibernating not doing muuch at all.
Depression is an evil thing and I do seem to be at rock bottoom just now. Will bounce back always do just need kick in pants.
    love to all

  • Hello, ladies , getting ready for another rainy weekend here. We still need rain so I'm not complaining, gives me a good excuse to sit and quilt.

Down a pound this week. Starting to look at holiday recipes and think about what I'm going to do. Got the WW magazine in the mail yesterday. I just won't spend 5-6 points on dessert. It's not worth it to me.

61 days until Christmas - I found a cute pattern for a quilted water bottle cover so that's what I'm making for my friends since we all carry water around.

    And how are YOU doing?
  • Hi Susan,
    Wow! Another pound lost... CONGRATS!!

It snowed here in Nebraska 2 days ago. We normally don't get snow this time of the year, but whatchagonnado? It put a halt to my planting bulbs for now. I hope to get them all in before the actual freeze comes next month.

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your pattern instructions for your water bottle or where I could find it/or photo of it online.

    Thanks
  • Hi All,

WEll you can have our rain if you like, its lashing down and the waves on the beach are roaring. We also have winds of 80 mph+ so can exspect trees down tomorrow. We have battened down everything we think might move and brought my lemon and oorange tree indoors as its too cold for them now. I have 12 smaLL lemons on my tree and hope to use them for Christmas.
Have a good weekend. and enjoy the extra hour if your clocks go back like ours.
    love to all,
    Vivienne
  • Hi, I'm new as well. I've just been diagnosed as hypo and have been on Synthroid about four weeks. I go to see dr. on Thursday for more bloodwork and our first conversation on subject since he told me on phone what previous results. I've learned from this thread already as had no idea soy was a no-no.

I've been with 3FC a couple of months now and have lost about 20 pounds. Way far to go.

Had only planned to lurk tonight till I read the posts then felt I had to chime in.
  • Yes, he did recommend it because of the hot flashes. I have changed up my taking of my medicine (Thyrolar) and am now taking it in the morning. I have been reading about all the bad things about soy, so I have given it up for now. I am also going to start a low carb diet and see if that works.
  • Calil, I'll be glad to email you the pattern and a picture if you will send me your email address
  • Hi Girls,

Blood tests OK so they say but am stressed out not surpprised considering the last few weeks. ME is rampant but she did up the Amiltripalene(spehhing?) so that should help a bit and am also ashamed to say I have put 2lbs back on. We did not get any bamage from the storm but a lot of the middle part of UK were very badly hit.
    regards,
    Viv
  • Don't be ashamed because you gained...happens to all of us and if you're under stress its understandable.

I'm glad the storm didn't get you.
