HI everybody,
Janney, it is great to hear from you. Hang in there. Other people do understand; it's just sometimes hard to find them. If you need the hospital time, nobody has to know the reason why. Check out
www.nami.org and find the stigma busters site, it might help you. I know it's horrible to have a stigma about your own problems!!! I struggle with that, too, but you also need to know when it's time to let others take care of you for a while. Don't be ashamed. It isn't your fault and the people at work who have to know about it have rules about who they can tell and why. Basically only people who need to know get told. If you really feel scared about it, call your HR department or get a friend to call anonymously and ask some questions about it.
MyGirl, so good to hear your typing!!! You are going to feel great after that detox. Expect a headache but it will go away soon and then you'll feel like you broke through a wall. Good luck!
Everybody else, hope you'll forgive me for not writing to everybody but I am in a lot of pain (TOM) and can't really focus very well tonight.
I don't know that the plan is going so great for me. The cravings are just as bad as ever and I haven't lost anything really. A coworker told me that if anybody else has tried what I have they would look great by now. Something is definitely not right and I am really frustrated with all these doctors. I know I should just be happy with being healthy but I don't like being 50 pounds heavier than I was for years without even trying to stay thin. The PMS is horrible, I can't eat when I have my period and the painkillers make me sick to my stomach. Thank God for mineral water. Actually, thank God for the many many blessings I have in my life!!
So I am grumpy today but I thought I'd check in anyway. Hope you all hang in there and have a string of good days. You deserve it.
Jennifa
