I dont know if anybody else on this forum has MS but I'm interested to know if anyone taking interferons knows if it changes your metabolism... since it messes with everything else. My last resort will be to call my drug rep.. who will give me the pretty feel good answer.

I'm sure the rep is going to say NO, it doesnt mess with metabolism. I take Avonex and have gained weight. I think my age, and being less active have put the weight on for me. Because my legs hurt and I fatique easily, I cant walk for long periods.
