March Keep In Touch
Happy March which is coming in like a bit of a lamb this week. I see sunshine for five days in a row starting Wednesday! :carrot: It's amazing how that can lift spirits.
Low FBGL this morning but breakfast fixed that. The weight is up a pound but I'm not changing the ticker until it has lied for longer than that. I suspect nibbling on wasabi peas during last night's game may be the cause. Lots of water today to flush it out. I also plan a trip to the doc asap to see if I can ditch this cough and back pain - I suspect bronchitis and want it over with before the 17th when I go to Orlando. So Happy St. David's Day whether you're Welsh or not. (My husband was a Griffiths.) |
Hi, all. I've been lurking but not felt like posting. Weight up, BGL up. Mostly due to poor sleep. Having to get up early for work doesn't help. Do blood draw this week for my doc appt. next week. Wonder what my A1c will be.
Ruth, I hope you get rid of that cough before your trip. Hi, to all the newbies. |
RUTH ~ what kind of flower is that in your avatar; must be quite hardly to bloom in the snow, or was it covered by the snow?
HI ROSETTA ~ nice to see you drop by; I am aiming for a on plan March ... wish me luck ... hope to have a good month as spring is coming! We have gorgeous :sunny: and milder temps again today; perfect for shopping and got some walking in this AM too. Time for my tea and put my legs up to rest them now. Have a great day ... :flow1: |
blood work was done this am, then long busy day of work. Was proud of myself, when I got home, no excuses, got on the treadmill and watched a show on the pvr.
Sad news, had 2 aunties die in 24 hours. Won't be able to attend either funeral even though they were much loved. Had a good cry and a hug from Hubby |
Good morning. Another morning of low BGL although I had carbs last night. WTH?
Rosetta! Nice to see you back. Yes, the bloodwork will tell the tale. Rosebud, it's a snowdrop. I didn't take that picture but they really do come up very early - the end of January one year. Mad, sorry about the dear aunties. I have one more to go and then I'll be the matriarch of the family. A sobering thought. I went to the doc yesterday and got royal heck plus meds for bronchitis. I am to "take it easy" if I want to go to Florida on the 17th. I didn't sleep well last night so will try for a nap this afternoon. I'm canceling pet therapy so I don't get blamed for the next wave of colds that goes through the nursing home! I'm not contagious but sure sound it. Have a good Tuesday. Spring is moving north! :) Send me robins! :encore: |
Hello folks.
I'm just a lurker, dh has insulin dependent Diabetes, so just reading how others are dealing with it. He gets tired of it, but there are worse things. Are any of you retired, or still young and gadding about? ;) Take care, perhaps Spring will come, hummingbirds are back, yet we have some snow tonight too, up here in Northern Calif. Doris |
doing better
I started cutting more carbs on the weekend, got frustrated with the very slow wt loss, and have lost another pound, so am quite pleased. Still a bit more than recommended with induction for Atkins, (about 30-35 grams) but its working so I will stay at this and not reduce carbs further. Sugars are incredibly stable so thats good too. pcs are 6.0 or 6.2. Its a lot of work planning the snacks.
I said I was gonna do more planning and thats what I have done. Work has been busy, have attended 2 deliveries and done full days of clinical work, but have been taking care to eat well and to get rest when able, and so far so good. Things will settle out by the end of the week and I can get my schedule into order. I am so glad you got to the doc Ruth, clearly the time was right. Hope everyone has a good week, get outside and get some excersice, except Ruth who has to take it easy. ;) |
Hi Doris. So nice to know the hummers are on their way North. They usually get here for Mother's Day.
Mad, I am seriously considering more carb cutting too as my ticker (non-existant at the moment) is stuck. I have Atkins Diabetes Revolution and am picking away at it. I really should be focusing on eating better right now. I realized this morning that I did not have any veggies or fruit yesterday. :nono: I know better! No gym this morning but I do have to go out to two appointments. |
Are you guys pushing the Omega 3 fats in your daily plans? I have been changing my dh to those, and his blood sugars are coming down better now. He gets fish at least 4 times a week too. Today I'm fixing us a beef stew, but not using alot of meat and more veggies instead.
We are having a snowstorm now, so the Hummingbirds go into torpor until the sun comes out again. Have a good day. Doris |
Hello . . . I am fairly new to 3FC (tomorrow will be one week). I am a Type II diabetic diagnosed in 1999. Last August (A1C of 12.8) I started on insulin 4 times a day, along with metformin 1000 mg twice a day. In November my A1C was down to 9.5. My next appointment for blood work isn't until April 13 (my doctor has a very long wait for appointments). My BG levels have been very good this week - and I have not been taking any insulin at mealtimes since Sunday. I continue to take my Lantus (24 hour insulin) at bedtime. My fasting this morning was 112. Two hours after breakfast it was 131. Yesterday my fasting was 134 and the day before that 109. I plan to monitor my levels very closely for another day or two and then send the readings to my doctor and see what they think. I don't want to take insulin with each meal if I don't need it, but I also don't want to cause harm by not taking it. I had one person tell me that my blood sugar levels will rebound (up) after a few days without the insulin. I guess we'll see. I have called and left a message for the nurse practitioner at my endo's office to see what she thinks.

I got a call back from my doctor's office. They want me to cut my usual mealtime insulin in half (B-5u, L-5u and D-8u) and continue with the 40 units of Lantus at bedtime. They want me to check my sugar 7 times a day (before and after each meal and then bedtime) for the next 7 days and then they will re-evaluate. I'm glad I called them, but I'm not looking forward to checking my sugar that often - especially with the cost of test strips being so high.

Howdy, MamaP. I'm a type 2, too. :wel3fc:
It's been rather nice lately. The skies have been clear, little to no wind, and plenty of sunshine. :beach: This past Sunday I was involved in a car accident. The other driver decided to zip through an intersection without looking and BAM! No one was hurt, thankfully. I was going less than 15 mph but still managed to total her Subaru with my Suburban. Since the accident, I have been walking almost everywhere (to the store, the doctor's office, the gym, etc...). I even purchased a monthly bus pass so I can get around until the car is repaired. Until today, I never realized how easy it is for me to get around and function without an automobile. I think I will definitely keep walking more, even after the car gets fixed. On Monday, following the accident, I had my blood drawn for a blood test. I will meet with my dietitian on Friday to discuss the results. I have increased my Omega-3 intake since starting my healthier eating habits. My red meat consumption has decreased and I regularly eat fish and poultry. |
:welcome: to both DORIS and KRIS ~ nice to have you join us on this thread. We had another lovely :sunny: day and the snow fairies were out clearing the streets today and hauling it away to our snowdump. We have had really mild temps this week too; the therm is reading on the + side then slides down a bit when Mr. Sunshine disappears.
MAD ~ sorry about your Aunties passing ... Most of mine live far, far away. RUTH ~ glad you got some meds for your bad flu, esp since it was lingering so long. MR. Z ~ glad you weren't hurt in that accident; and it's a blessing in disguise that you will be getting lots more exercise as a result. BTW ~ I am interested to know what kind of fish you all like to eat; and how do you prepare it? Wow, fish 4 times a week; is that both dinner and lunch combined? I was concerned about warnings to only eat fish 2 x times a week. We had pollock fillets (in seasoned flour), and sole another time recently. I have some rainbow trout in the freezer; am thinking about how to prepare it ... :chin: Hope you all have a great day tomorrow, and really nice weather like us too! :D |
I eat fish about twice a week, having tuna salad one time and usually grilled salmon another, but sometimes have a different kind of fillet if hubby wants it.
We also take salmon oil capsules (1g daily) for years. We both have excellent cholesterol levels, which we think is related to the salmon oil. Ruth: I think I am being more successful with Atkins induction this time (tried in early December but couldn't stick to it) by slowly cutting back the carbs. Its not the Atkins way, but no diet does any good if you can't stick with it. And like I say, I am getting more than recommended with induction, but its working great. I might actually get to my end of pregnancy weight in time for my daughter's birthday! |
My pantry is stocked with canned tuna, salmon, and sardines. About two to three times a week, I'll make a tuna or salmon salad for sandwiches. Whenever I go to the grocery store, I always check the seafood items on clearance. I've gotten some great deals on fish fillets, whole fish, and shrimp. If I find something on clearance, it gets cooked that day. Fillets normally get fried, whole fish get baked, and with the warmer weather I will start grilling more.
Another beautiful day today. 50's F and sunny. My trainer canceled this mornings session due to illness. I slept in but plan on hitting the gym later today. |
z, its great you made lemonade from lemons with your car accident. Getting more walking in as part of routine life is one of the best ways to live actively. Its just so simple. Its a disadvantage of country life, but I do try to park in one place and walk around town when I go to town, for the same reasons.
WIll post my blood work later today, I am told its at the office, I am so excited to see it! |
New regime changes have me seeing my first stable night time and morning sugar levels!! I've been consistently under 10 every night and following morning so far for the past week. Really liking my numbers atm!
I was given a tentative diagnosis of acute dyspraxia and Irlen's Syndrome by the school Psychologist guy, so I'm working around that now too. Going to Crufts next week, so I'm uber excited and happy about that! :) Hope everyone else is well! :) |
HI CASSANDRA ~ glad to hear that you are getting some control in your numbers with some modification in your plan. My youngest sister had dyslexia (which is similar to Irlen's) but after my mom took her off her epilepsy meds (phenobarb) and with some 1-on-1 study help, she did much better in school and went on to graduate college (plus they discovered she needed glasses at that time too).
With some vision therapy, and other learning tricks (you may be referred to a neurologist and a therapist), you could have a lot of improvement. My parents bought my sister a special pocket-size dictionary which she kept with her at all times, and this helped her immensely. I have an electronic speller that I type in what I think the word sounds like and it tells me what the correct spelling is. I think you can get all kinds of these devices these days. Hope you have fun at the dog show; are you entering some of your own or just going for the fun of it? MR. Z ~ thanks for all those great ideas about the fish; we have found a source of fish here that often has good prices too. I love doing the fillets in my own seasoned flour or light crumbs; I also sometimes poach some fish in lite Ceasar dressing (this is nice for wild pacific salmon). DH says that he would love to try doing some on the grill this spring as well. Ms. MAD ~ I have some fish oil capsules, but they are 1000 mg each; we don't have that many choices here for lower doses like you take. I have the "Dr. Atkin's NEW Diet Revolution Book" and in the past, I used my own modified plan to lose weight too. I am still using some of those ideas in my plan now. Like you, I am cutting my carbs down slowly, but found that there is a certain level I can't go below, or I end up hungry or sick. I am also taking a vitamin B-50 complex and other vitamins & minerals as well (as I have deficiencies). In all honestly, I used a lower carb (not no carb) plan most often in the past and was successful in that; but my gross error was that there was no maintainence phase, which I now know is as important as the losing phase. This version of Dr. Atkin's book stresses the maintainence phase quite a bit right from the get go. That is the one thing that I would stress to people today regardless of what plan they are on -- when you reach your goal or are getting close to it, remember that you MUST continue your healthy eating for the rest of your life, or you will gain it all back. Sooo, it is very important to choose an eating style that you like and foods you love, so that you will be able to eat this way for the long term. I am creating dishes that both my DH and I love, and they are healthy too. Got some good walking in today; we went up town to do a bit of shopping and visit a new place. The :sunny: came out this afternoon and we have nice warm temps too. We picked up some lunch, so we are having an extra light dinner tonight; probably with some TUNA in there somewhere. Time to go make myself some tea ... ttyl :D |
Hello & happy march everyone.
My days continue to be very busy right now. I have actually started an exercise routine that is easy to keep up with so far & my bg is great. I hope to be back chatting with you all soon. |
Oh my! I feel so guilty about not eating fish and also for skipping the gym for over a week. I just cannot eat fish - and I've cooked it many ways - so it's salmon oil capsules for me. The gym routine has gone because I've felt so lousy in the mornings. I hope by next week to get back on track. BGL has been pretty stable though.
|
RUTH ~ don't feel badly about that; my sister hates fish and won't eat it hardly ever (maybe salmon/tuna when she was young), and she still won't even try it. I used to only eat tuna and salmon at one time too; until I discovered cod or haddock fish sticks. I admit that my favorite are lightly breaded fillets, but after some time, I have found some others I like and ways to cook it that taste great for my DH, who is a fish nut!

blood work is back
So the results of 3 months of hard work is that my a1c is down from 5.9 to 5.7
I was borderline/pre-diabetic, and had 2 elevated levels on my 75 g challenge it was 6.1 fasting and 13.8 1 hr later, down to 7.0 at two hours, this last the only "normal" value. I didn't do a 75 g challenge on Monday, just had a fasting of 5.6 which is still a bit high but down well. on my glucometer at the same time it was 5.3 so I seem to within a reasonable error range on that. I have lost 10 pounds and will keep going. my microalbumin in the urine is less than 6, creatinine is normal, but my GFR is a bit high at 57. DOn't know why this should be so, I have never had kidney problems. WOuld this go with weight loss? cholesterol and lipids are a bit worrisome too, my LDL is borderline high and HDL a bit low, but overall cholesterol is good, and triglycerides are fine. So I hope with continued exercise the cholesterol levels will improve in the next year. Overall I think I am doing well, and am on the right track. Is there enough improvement in my a1c? should I be doing more? will see doc next week, and will discuss/rediscuss metformin with her. any feedback? :?: |
Good morning chicks. I did an early morning workout that left me felling pretty good. My fbs is good here lately! My kids are home sick from school so now I'm off to take care of them.
|
nice weekend
We had a lovely sunny day, and had a good trail walk. It was fairly warm, and will stay warm for a bit, and that means that the snow is melting. It will be hard to go outside for walking for a bit. Will have to work on figuring that one out.
Blood sugars are good, 5.3 fasting and 5.9 pc today. Have been sticking to the eating plan. It has been a really busy work week, I was worried about how I would handle it all and still exercise and eat right after the luxury of being able to exercise and eat regularly while I was off work for the month. The exercise was hard, due to the long hours I sometimes work. But when I couldn't get to the exercise, I found I missed it, and arranged to get to it asap. Sometimes I didn't get on the treadmill til 10 pm, but did it anyway. I have maintained the new diet for over a week, and have good results to show for it. So all in all, am pretty happy with things. I will plan for keeping with the diet at this level for the month, and see where I am at then. Don't know if there will be snow for skiing next weekend when I have a couple of days off to do it, but hope to get one more weekend of skiing in before the snow goes completely. Have a good weekend everyone. thanks for being here! |
a good day
Happy International Women's Day everyone!
It was a warm and sunny day here, (14 celsius) and I went to a hot yoga class and had a trail walk today. The forecast will have it warm all week, so I fear no skiing on my weekend off....Must go buy some nordic walking poles. Have eaten on plan all day and pc sugar was 5.9 so I am happily on track. In spite of a busy work week have pretty much kept to eating plan and have exercised some. Not as much as I would like, (not just for health's sake, but I actually miss it now when I don't do something most days!) but much more than I would have done before my diagnosis. I used to use busyness as an excuse not to exercise, but NO MORE! I deserve to take the time to take care of myself. I actually felt like I was treating myself to my exercise today, and really enjoyed it. Hope everyone is feeling ok. I assume Ruth is really having lots of problems with her back and finding that sitting at the computer is just too much for her. LEts all send healing thoughts and prayers her way! |
Thank you, FatMad. You must have been in my head. Yesterday was not a good day. I started out with a 2.4 FBGL and it took a while to get back to "alleged' normal. The back is feeling better - it was from the bronchitis which is slowly departing. I did go to the gym but could not do my whole routine because of coughing. Today I will do some gentle treadmill here at home.
Glorious sunny day happening out there. We still have snow but it's melting slowly. Dare I suggest we may have an early Spring? The lads have tapped the maples and are "boiling" - I was given my first syrup yesterday. I avoid eating it like the plague but appreciate their thought. The maple woods is mine but I allow my neighbour to tap the trees. He gives me lots of syrup - great hostess gifts for my city slicker friends. When the mud and ice disappear from the lane, I am going to start some training walks with the doggage. They get lots of exercise running after squirrels in the yard but need some formal leash work. So does Mummy! |
Ruth, I am so glad you are feeling better, with your trip coming up, you want to feel well for fun!.
I get syrup this time of year too, its often a thank you for our midwifery care. But I have moved people away from giving me baked goods, and I will have to convince them that syrup if out now too. Like you say, makes a great hostess gift. |
Another darn low FBGL - I need to have a bedtime snack because it sure screws up the start of my day. No gym again as I feel rocky but a walk is on the MUST list today.
|
 We have been having awesome weather here too; with lots of :sunny: and +10 C yesterday and today but the sun was only out for a short time this AM. Supposed to be back for tomorrow and Friday though. Our snow is melting too; we can even see some grass here on our front lawn and near the fir tree. Two doves decided to have a swim in a puddle in our laneway which is on a downward slant so it is one of a very few that is clear already.
Been having really good on plan days lately; getting better each day and no junkies for far this month. Going for a record of no junkies this month; hope I make it ... RUTH ~ glad you are feeling better; ya, it might be better to rest a bit more near home until you are over that flu. A walk down the lane with the doggies shouldn't hurt none as long as you dress up warm. Take care all and have a great week ... Rosebud :flow1: |
hey
Rosebud, good for you, no junkies so far, you can get thru the month.
Ruth, I am also wondering if your infection or your meds are affecting your sugars too. Hope you can find a solution with a nighttime snack. Its no good waking up feeling so crummy. Have been staying on plan, getting more cravings than last week. THis week of work hasn't been as busy yet. I have the weekend off, and my older daughter and her true love are coming for the weekend, and on Friday we see the younger one off for a March Break holiday of scuba diving off Honduras. My older girl is really into healthy eating and fitness and will come for yoga with me and will help with cooking, so I should not have trouble staying on plan. I hope to be down to my end- of- pregnancy- weight with number 2 in time for her to come home for her 18th birthday. SO have made it onto the treadmill the last 2 days, since with the big melt, walking outside isn't really good right now. Just one day of work left..... ahhh |
Hi, all. Got my A1c results. 6.3. Up from 5.9 three months ago and 5.5 six months ago. No surprise, since I've been putting on weight the last few months. Also anemic. Will have to do some tests to discover why. Hope you all are doing better than I am.
|
HI ROSETTA ~ sorry to hear that your numbers are sneaking up on you -- hope the doctor can get to the bottom of that anemia for you. BTW, do you log what you eat? I journal everything I eat whether I count or not; sometimes I do both. I have been working really hard at slowly cutting down on my grain and starch carbs, a bit at a time, ie using only a tbl of granola or fiber one on my yogurt or fruit (sometimes omitting it altogether).
I had devised a lower carb (naughty kind of carbs: as in simple) many years ago and am slowly winding my way back there. I take lots of supplements; and my plan is LOWER carbs, not no carbs; so I still get to eat some, but in very small portions. Right now, I am sitting at 1-2 healthy complex grain carbs and/or 0-1 starch carbs a day; and I'll see where that goes in the future. Some days, I may just have meat and veggies and salad, as that can fill me up pretty good. On the nights that I can't finish my salad, I save it for a snack and just add a bit of cheddar cheese and that is filling too. So far so good; and I'm feeling OK with no negative side effects. Tonight, I had sole fish with a good size mixed salad + baby cuke & tomato. I had 8 small sweet potato fries, but I may skip those on occasion, as they are not always available here. I know some of you must keep to a stricter plan than me; and some of you like RUTH are really having low numbers. I also heard or read somewhere that illness can raise your numbers too. RUTH ~ I love those pretty purple/lilac flowers in you avatar; what kind are those? Ms. Mad ~ yes, I am really trying to reign that in; as junkie snacks have been my nemesis, but I think I can do it if I really put my mind to it. We had another :sunny: day and we did have some wind, so it was a bit cooler but the temps came up to above +12 C or high 50's F which was a bit of a shocker for here. It does cool off at night and will be for tomorrow too. Have yourselves a fabulous Friday everyone ... Rosebud :flow1: |
Good morning.
Rosetta, sorry the HA1C went up! You are still in the "controlled" diabetic range though - maybe your doc can get it knocked back down. I test 6.5 most of the time. Mad, I am still working on finding the right carb balance. I have been fighting my weight for about fifty years (I'm 71) and am getting darned sick of it. I must dig out my Atkins Diabetes Revolution and study it. Rosebud, the flowers are hepaticas - a dainty wildflower that grows in the woods around here. It's not in bloom quite yet but is usually in bloom before the trilliums and dog-tooth violets. I love my woods in spring when my many species bloom. Decent FBGL this morning for a change - probably from a "carby" day yesterday. Weight is up a bit because of a detour into the Chinese Buffet place yesterday. I'm still coughing a lot at night but am hoping that is gone before I leave for Florida next Wednesday. TGIF to all and keep up the fight! |
Hi, all. Rainy day here. On my second monster cup of tea and finishing my Starbucks blueberry scone.
Rosebud: I don't log when I'm eating totally off the chart. I know I'm eating poorly and too much. I only do it when I'm actually attempting to diet. I'd like to go back on a medically supervised fast, but they won't let me do it because of the anemia. It's easier for me to do that than try to plan meals, etc., since I don't like to cook. Ruth: I envy you your woods. Living in the big city, I'm lucky to see a few weeds poking through the cracks in the sidewalk. Have a good weekend. |
tgif
Had the day off and was planning a cross-country ski an hour north, but when we woke up the dog was sick and the computer satellite was down, and I thought I would have to cancel my plans. I was thinking about what to do for strenuous exercise instead, but hubby insisted I go for the ski and he would take care of things at home. He went downhill skiing yesterday when I insisted, so he did the same for me. It is getting really warm here, so these may be the last times we ski this year. It was great, because I did the 10k ski in record time for me, and was really not overtired at the end of it. I feel I am really getting fit when this happens.
Ate on plan today, and sugars are good. Saw the younger daughter off for her March break trip for her 18th birthday, and picked the older one up for a weekend visit. Will be teaching her to drive tomorrow. Rosetta, hope you can find the inner strength to start again and get back on plan and in control. Rosebud, I am quite low carb these days and my sugars are so stable, I am not so very tempted to cheat. Ruth, hope the cough keeps getting better. And that the Florida weather will be good when you go! ttfn everyone |
The time change happened although I completely forgot to change the clocks. At least the clock in the car will be right now.
BGL is finally better but the scale is still stuck. I know my trip to Disney World is going to be a challenge although there will be lots of walking. I'm planning to take along my own snack foods and water but there will still be dinner to contend with. The "kids" like those massive buffets which will be a challenge to me. Anyhow I have three more days to eat healthy and get rid of this darn "thing". No coughing last night for a change. |
I woke up today with my first "low" in..well gosh, it must have been at least 6-8 months! 4.7, my meter read, but I think it was actually a bit lower because I had to really squeeze to get the sucker to take!
I woke up and let the dogs out and I started to feel droopy and tingly and quite ill. I never feel them coming on until its way too late. I have over 10,000 words worth of essays to get through this semester for University. I need to really get cracking on this! :) |
My scale is stuck too. While walking the dog this morning, DH and I discussed what we want to do this summer, about selling our land on Manitoulin Island, and getting more fit.
He is naturally tall and thin, but is getting love handles, and was noticeably less fit on our ski vacation, so he wants to get into better shape too. We are thinking of cycling, and maybe having a cycling vacation, (was thinking of the cabot trail?) in the warm weather. It was nice and supportive, without being judgemental. He is much better about my need to eat regularly. I have suffered with hypoglycemia for as long as I can remember, but he was not good about it, but now, he sees preventing the lows as part of managing the highs, so he is definitely on side. Life feels pretty good, even if the scale is stuck. |
HI FOLKS ~ we have been having awesome weather up here; :sunny: every day ... it is fantastic! The temps were a bit cooler today, but still nice with the hot sun. NIKO and I have been spending some time out on our deck every day to catch some "D's" (vitamin that is) ... He just loves it out there as he can watch all the people and cars and doggies go by ...
Friday we did a bit of shopping; had to pick up veggies for my salads and a bit of meat too. Have been eating on plan really well; we had a fun dinner tonight of a hamburger with coleslaw and a few home fries. I was stuffed so saved some of my salad for my snack tonight. We try to have one dinner a week of something that we really like; I have done this almost my whole life, even when I was younger and much smaller. It helps me not feel like my life has become one of total deprivation ... ;) Just did stuff around here; sorting out some boxes in storage (in my shed and our spare room) while DH worked on his shed. It is so nice out we are taking advantage of the weather here. My last F-BSR was 6.3 ... a bit high for me but I am not on the metformin anymore; it was making me have too many lows and dizzy spells, and cravings. Thank goodness, I am still in a "controlled" range though, but I am eating really well, so I am OK with this. RUTH ~ I recall when I lived down south going through the woods on nature walks and seeing so many nice flowers like you mentioned, esp when I was young. I was in brownies and that was one of our favorite things to do: going on nature hikes. I miss all the lovely maple and chestnut trees down there; the colors and the smells were awesome. Glad you are feeling better and that cough is finally going away ... DH's brother called him last night and reminded him to turn the clocks back, so he waited and did that early this AM but now I have to put the car one back again: I had just put it ahead a few weeks ago ... :dizzy: Anyways, hope you all have a wonderful week coming up and do enjoy all this lovely, lovely weather we are having! Rosebud :flow1: |
Quickie today as I need to clear everything out of my guestroom by 8. My contractor got the dates wrong and is coming this morning to start floor stripping! That will be my workout for the day.
Gotta dash and grab breakfast. For some reason, the dog alarm didn't get me up until nearly seven this morning. |
