I am very sorry to announce that our Meowee passed away this afternoon.

Most of you know that she has had declining health problems over the past few months. She was diagnosed last month with lung cancer. Last week they found that it had spread to her brain, and she declined quickly and lost the battle this afternoon. I know she will be missed by many here.

Please feel free to leave any condolences on this thread, and I will send a link to the family so they can read how much she meant to those of us so far away.

She was my friend as well as a co-Mod. We spent time in each other's homes and talked on the phone frequently. I will miss her and her depth of knowledge. RIP Linda!

Linda was a delight! I'm so sorry that I never met her in real life. She will be missed.

Linda made the most beautiful quilt of 3 Chicks, and gave it to me and Suzanne last year. She was supposed to fly this way again in a few days - she'll definitely be missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to her children and grandchildren at this time. I know this must be a terrible shock to everybody.

You never can realize quite how much someone means to you until you don't have the opportunity to tell them anymore. Linda, you'll be missed so terribly. I am so sorry that I was never able to meet you, but grateful for the time I had to spend with you as my co-mod.
