we had our youth christmas party last night and had a great time. 28 teenagers showed up but it felt like there were at least 50 people in the house. then I was up til almost midnight cleaning up. Got to everything but my floors, so dear hubby is gonna sweep and mop for me today. YIPPEEEEEE
and now......I can think about a baby shower that I'm helping with on Saturday. THANK GOODNESS it is not at my house!!!!

Hi Cathy, glad your party went well but yes, it can be exhausting with all the before and after math. I think thats what stops me from doing things....the over all work and not having alot of time.
Its cold cold cold today.... a high of 39 degrees OY! We went from 70 last week to 39 this week. Can you say aaaaachew!

I'm a bit shakey about a dinner I have to go to in about an hour. At least I didn't fuss and stew for days. I've only been getting nervous for about an hour.
Hi all, I hope your all doing well. Me? My back is still sore, but not as bad as before, I can at least now move a bit without cringing in pain.
Have any of you ever felt like a complete failure? That is how I've been feeling lately. Just like I let myself down. I have never been in such worse shape, not just my weight, but my health and my well being. I just feel like I've totally lost myself.
Well anyways dont' want to be a downer, but just wanted to share some feelings I've been experiencing lately.
I feel so blessed! My friend was standing beside an empty chair when I got there!
When I thought I had to leave another gal walked outside with me and we talked a bit ... I went back in.
Ya know ... it never hurts to let a few good people in on your deep dark secret. They were very good to me and I really did have a nice time.
Sassy? I don't think you're a complete failure and I'm old ... so you can't argue with me!
I've been up a looooooonnnnnnnnngggggg time already. For some reason I don't seem to be able to sleep - I think I just have too many things on my mind bec my list of things to do is long. Tis the season
Hey Susan, I'm so glad that things went well at the dinner, and that your friends made you feel comfortable. Forgive me for asking if we've talked about it before (but I'm running on fumes over here) but do you deal with anxiety attacks? is that what you are calling your "deep dark secret"?

I knew Sassy was just having a bad day. Back pain is a miserable thing and all she needed was some luvin'.
I'm really sorry I don't come here very often. I should. Sometimes we just need to talk to someone who knows that tomorrow could be better than today. And I can do that. I have far more good days than bad now.
I dunno Cathy ... I pop all around 3FC (and probably talk too much). I have a social anxiety disorder with inappropriate reactive depressive episodes and some just plain regular no reason for 'em depressive episodes. Somewhere on here I've posted a bit of a life story
There's lots of people in my life that don't know. They don't need to. Lots wouldn't understand.
Well us NJ folks are enjoying the 40 degree weather today because tomorrow its supposed to be FREEEEEZING !!!! I don't mind the cold, so to speak...its the snow I can't stand..only because I have to drive in it

I'm heading out to Sears at lunch time to grab a few items and then back here to finish up some projects for work. BORING lolol (work that is).
I feel like a giant roller coaster here. lol. My back is really sore again, but also AF is really "flowin" too and not having a fun time. I just wish I could feel good all the time. lol.

Ugh Leenie, I know what you mean about snow. I like it as long as I don't have to drive in it and luckily I don't have too as DH and I have the same shift and work at the same place! So I am very lucky I know!
