Hello!

I really like your prayer at the end of your thread. It is really touching and says a whole lot about life. Thanks!

As for my weekend, I have a cookout to go to that I need to really behave at. THe host is this really fabulous hawaiian and she makes these out of this world hawaiian treats. Lord help me! I am also planning to do a lot of swimming in my pool for exercise. I may go take a walk on a bike trail near my house too.

Have a great weekend!

I am so booked for this weekend that I don't know if I'm coming or going.

Tonight my prospective adoptive cocker spaniel is coming over to visit - my current cocker spaniel needs a friend. I may also have to go clear across the D/FW metroplex to pick up my niece and nephew so my son doesn't go into fits.

Tomorrow is my hubby's birthday - he's 43 (but I didn't say that). I got tickets to a murder mystery dinner theater...I hope he likes it 'cause they were mucho expensive. Then, of course, Sunday is Father's Day. We'll go put flowers on my father's grave and I'll probably make some spectacular breakfast for my husband.

Then I'll take Monday off to recuperate.

Hi all

Another nice day here. Just finished shaving the dog, he was getting just so hot. Also last night when he came in from outside we saw that he has a cut on his side, so getting rid of the hair lets us assess it better and put a "bandaid" on it to keep the bugs out. I sure hope it scabs over quickly and doesn't get any infection.
Nothing planned for the weekend, maybe get some more clutter moved out? Hubby made it home last night and is in town today. So he'll be home tonight.

Hope everyone has a great day,
Take care,
K

welcome stacey I think you will enjoy it here. I lived in Germany when I was very young but I remember quite a bit of it. My dad was stationed there.

Today has been pretty good. I have taken my son on so many bike ride/walks this week he is getting pretty good. I think he will be loosing his training wheels soon. I have had him riding all over town. Tonight right after DH got home from work we went on one again to a park so the kids could play, it was a lot of fun. Tomorrow we are going swimming, but it will be a huge family thing. We are celebrating fathers day and my dad's birthday, so all 6 of my sisters and spouses and kids will all be there. It should be fun.
