GM Leenie- I hope you enjoy your time off from work.

ok I feel better today. I had a vent session with my trainer yesterday. Not really because I wanted too but because he knew something was bothering me and wouldn't let it go. Here's the thing. DH has made some comments lately that have been hurtful. such as: I don't see how you're going to lose all that fat around your hips, or YOu're not going to be one of those women that end up small up top with a big butt and hips are you, or I can afford to lay off the gym this week I don't have as far to go with my body as you do. Just to name a few. Also I have gained again. The scale is showing 200.5 and I have been on plan and working my butt off at the gym. That is just frustrating as h@!!. And to top it all off I had to try on swimsuits because my old on is falling apart. Well I'm sure you all can imagine how that went. Well my trainer told me that I do look like I've lost weight and that I shouldn't be on the scale just wait and we'll remeasure when it's time and that's when I'll see results. also that I may not be showing a loss on the scale but I am firming up. I do feel better, but I am still so discouraged and down about the whole thing. I just am trying to hang in there and I'm still going to go to the gym everyday and do my thing and hopefully it will payoff. THanks for the ear guys. I'll check back later to see how everyone is doing. Gotta go to the gym. TTYL

Hi Heather,

Gee that suck about your DH making those comments. Next time he says anything to you like your gonna have a big butt, turn around and say, SO? whats wrong with that.... Some men do like that ya know... and then walk away smiling.

IMHO, I think he is scared of you losing weight. In his own twisted way, his hurtfull comments are his way of trying to maybe sabotage your efforts. Maybe he feels like you'll look elsewhere and that other men will look too. Maybe the next time he hurts you with a comment you should confront him and ask him if he's jealous or why he says what he says.

Just remember.....do this for you and don't give up. I'm glad you have a good trainer.

Hugs and kisses to you.
