I ate something yesterday that really didn't agree with me and I have terrible heartburn.........never happens........had a crossiant sandwich for lunch which is not the norm but have never bothered me in the past. Something so minor and it is really disruptive, to sleep, well being etc.

NO work today........gonna clean house and make a nice roast beef dinner for my girls.....hubby doesn't eat meat so I'll come up with something for him too....haven't made a decent meal for a few days....hubby has been cheif cook and bottlemaker.

Piano lessons and meet the high school principal tonight at dd14's school.

Had elections last night and the PC's won.......should be interesting to see how things play out over the next several months.

Anyhow gonna move on.

good morning gang

sorry I didn't make it in here yesterday. I am way too busy for my own good.

Had an eye doctor appt after work yesterday to get back into my contact lens. I have a bad astigmatism in my right eye and I am very hard to fit with contacts and get good clear vision, and then having gone to bifocals a few years ago, well I just didn't go to the time and expense of it. The contacts are about $200 for each eye, which is honestly, very expensive. But for Christmas dh gave me $$$ so that I could get them again. So my eye doc is working with a specialist in Dallas today and will get them ordered. I am so excited. silly I know but I will be so glad to be out of these glasses again.

In the meantime I have had 2 back teeth break apart *wah* so I have a dentist appt on Thursday to fix them. I am so afraid he will need to crown them both which you know is $$$ LOL sooooooo not only am I BUSY - I'm EXPENSIVE TOO!!!!

Leenie - I went back and read yesterday and the weekend posts. Thanks so much for telling me about dd's dress. My little pony print sounds sooooooo cute! Sounds like you got a good start on it all since you have it all cut out. My dad use to always joke about he just couldn't understand women - they go to a store and buy a perfectly good piece of fabric, so that they can bring it home, and cut it up, and sew it back together again! ;-)
keep us posted on the dress.

MMarie - I really like your new icon pic! You are very talented to do such beautiful stained glass work. I wouldn't even know where to start. Glad you are having a good time walking with Leslie! I hope you are walking some for me bec I just don't seem to be able to get to it right now.

but I'm thinking about ordering her new 5 mile dvd today. I don't think I would ever have the time or energy to do the whole 5 miles, but it looks like she has a 12 minute mile and even a 10 minute mile in there so it would be great to have just for something faster paced.

Cin - it is sooooooooo good to see ya on here! Seems like winter has been pretty mild everywhere this year huh. Makes you wonder how warm it will be this summer???? with all your exercising have you lost a few pounds? I take it you are feeling good as new since your surgery?

Hey Liz - you and I were posting at the same time! Glad you are off from work today even tho it sounds like you will be working at home. Your dh doesn't eat any meat at all? that sounds challenging at suppertime. Is he a vegeterian? I'm sorry I haven't seen any news lately - and you mentioned elections - what are PC's?

HELP!!!

Somebody please kick me in the butt!!! I have been in such a funk the past few days. I'm eating horribly and not exercising and sleeping A LOT!!!! And yes I am taking my meds. I hate this. I've got things I need to do...just make a few phone calls and can't seem to make the effort. But I've always been a terrible procrastinator. Seriously, how do you guys that work full time get everything done and still cope with the mental illness.

Think I'll go outside and sit in the sunshine for a few minutes.

Boy, everyone is so busy!
Not much new going on here. Its overcast and dripping out there and feels so damp and yucky in here. I'm hoping to do some decluttering in the bedroom today, I'd like to vacuum in there, but I have to find the floor first

Anyway keep up the good work ladies, going to go and watch the noon news, even though it will be all about yesterday's election.

Hi all, I had a good day at work. Got a few things done, but mostly got interrupted with the phone and emails. That's the price I pay for taking Monday off. So I took next Monday off too.

Cathy and Leenie, thanks for the compliment. I do love stained glass, but Id ont' do it a lot anymore - I ran out of windows and so have my relatives. But I made the tulips last spring and I really like them. I've asked DH to move it to my craft room so I can have cheery in there.

I didn't finish the sweater. I made some major progress and hsould have the knitting done tonight. Maybe tomorrow night I can get it sewn together. I do see an end in sight. :

April, I got my go-lite today. I like it and am in a great mood. I don't know if it works that quickly but I sure am happy. Plus, my old lightbox is up to $150 on ebay. I'm thrilled about that!

Cathy, thanks for asking Liz about the elections - I didn't know what PC was either. So Liz, thanks for the answer. I'm just an ignorant American. Is the PC a good party and good for your o****ry?
