Have fun Liz! Starting a new job is always quite an experience.

Today DH and I are going across the Mountain to Costco and Lowe's. I'm not into car travel but it's worth it. I love Costco fruits and veges. We have some stuff to return to Lowe's from the remodeling. I figure that will help the bill not be too big.

DS1 worked on the room after the football games yesterday. That was good - and he stayed around to chat with me. No apology, but at least he was helpful. He even swiffered all my wood floors after I vacuumed. They look really nice. So things are better.

Well have a great day!

Cathy a big hug to you, We've been praying for everyone down there.
I was listening to something on NPR it was an essay by a gentleman who had been in Japan during some big earthquake. He said that everyone acted in an orderly manner no looting ect because there was a feeling that everyone belonged.
I tend to think a lot of people in our society especially the poor feel disenfrachised. I think our society has gotten away from reaching out to people and is more inclined to be selfish and push people away
Enough of my soapbox
Friday I had oral surgery and the rest of the weekend was a wash. Sunday afternoon we went to a 9/11 memorial at the shrine of St. Joseph it was so beautiful i cried
