I'm so glad everything worked out with your job. It's nice to have supportive people around you. Good luck with your exams

Hi, everyone,

Sue Marie, I am glad things worked out o.k. for you at your job. Man, what a mess! Good luck on your exams.

Thank you so much, everyone, for the support with the job-hunt. I called about that one job, and it turns out it is a VISTA job, which I wish I was in the position to take, but I am not (basically volunteer and full-time). But then I called the person I talked to at the live resume event about the city job to let her know I had applied and she was very supportive, so that felt good. I am getting braver. I figure what have I got to lose, and I might get a job---plus most people are so nice.

I am stressing over my weight, though. I have been following WW for a few months, and lately have just been eating my points, plus a little more----definitely due to stress---but I want to get started losing well again. Any ideas? I mean obviously if I could not eat extra stuff, that would be good, but any other ideas? Thanks.

I hope everyone is well and has a great day.

Hey everyone....I seem to be having a week filled with one problem after another, pure crapola.....I have no control over other people, but I can control myself (hopefully or I might ask you all to post my bail)...I just keep exercising and telling myself it is *medicine*

Kathy if you need to do "stress-munching"......here are a few suggestions.....pickle chips (like for hamburgers), cherry tomatoes, celery sticks, skinny pretzel sticks, sun-dried tomatoes (I chew these like candy, no oil I just buy them dry), cucumber slices, sugar-snap peas raw....special-K bars, sorbet...

TdKathy – Hi there… thank you! I can understand stress and eating… I do the same thing… I’ve tried changing what I grab… but it’s hard. Instead of gulping down chips, I grab a carrot… but I’ve yet to win over the cravings… good luck with that!

Liz – how are things going? Zoo sounds like fun. I can’t wait for summer break!!

I’m a little nervous about tommorrow’s exam… but I’ve been studying. What scares me the most are the essays and short answer questions. It’s been a while since I’ve taken any Human Development courses, I hope I still remember what I’m doing LOL!

Take care everyone…
Sue…
