Hi, everyone,

How is your son doing, Cathy?

I am busy today working on job-hunting stuff and house stuff. Applied for another job yesterday---office help at a retirement community. I think I would like it there, but we'll see. Tons of people apply for every job here, I guess. I am trying not to stress eat---that is my current challenge with eating right now. I stick to WW pretty well, then just think I deserve a treat....which I do, but I need to find non-food ones that are just as satisfying as food. Have a good day, everyone.

Talking

Good afternoon. Hope you are all well. We are having a rainy afternoon, but I am determined not to let it get me down. I decided yesterday to go a different route in the weight loss game. I had signed up for a month of e-diets. I don't think I will go 2 months as it just doesn't seem to offer the support I have here. But, what I decided was to look at the slim-fast diet plan. I have found that nothing (except Chocolate) seems to taste good or seems appealing and my stomach seems to get upset easily. My husband is gone 3-4 days a week and it is often too hard to cook for one, so I am going to use Spirutein shakes (more protein and fiber than Slim Fast) and the SF plan. One less thing I need to think about!

Didn't get up early to workout, but I did Wed & Thurs 2 out of 3 isn't bad! I also did my new 'thing' of getting off the train a stop early for the extra 15mins of walking even though I was kind of late so I didn't screw up too much.

Is it 5:30 yet? no? WAH!

I managed to do 40 mins. of wts. and cardio this morning, keeping my HR in the high 130s which is about 70-75% for me. (its hard judge it because i take a beta-blocker daily or I'm *tachy* with a resting HR of over 110). I sweat, I do aerobic and weight intervals and the weight is coming off but sooooo SLOW....both of my doctors think my metabolism is so slow because of all the drugs I've taken over the last year coupled with 40 something hormone balances......grrrrrrr, my body betrays me!

I will lose at a consistant rate if I exercise 4 or more hours per week.....so I had better get my buttisimo in gear
