What a long week it has been, work is draining me physically and mentally.
My BIL did not have the treach yesterday, they called in another specialist and they want to wait. They want to remove the breathing tube to see if he can breath on his own first. Lets pray!!
Whatcha all doing this weekend ?
Today, even though its raining we are going to a bbq. Tomorrow is MIL's birthday. In between is cleaning, playing, praying llol.
Leenie - I hopet things slow down soon as work. am praying for BIL. enjoy the bbq!
I should be cleaning today, but I decided yesterday that I am not. I will do some picking up and wash a lot of clothes. I have not washed since Wednesday night, and I usually do at least 2 loads every night, so you can imagine what the piles look like in my laundry room. yikes!
DH left early this morning to go with our Men's Ministry team to Angola Prison. He will get back just in time to lay his head down for an hour or two and then get up and go teach his sunday school class.
But I have plenty of teenagers in and out all day to keep me company today.
Fixing to go exercise when I get done playing on this computer. Need to work on graduation invitations and get them all ready to go in the mail soon. A woman's work is never done.
DD 13 wants to go shopping today and get the things she needs for the big trip......so we will shop and I will try to get an appointment for my hair some time this weekend.
I also have a gift certificate for a pedicure from my birthday......so I will book that when the kids are in school next week.
So far I am not working this weekend so that is nice...............but I could get called in if there is a shift in the evening.
Sounds like we all have our work cut out for us......life is good!

Cathy, good for you for not cleaning, I did that last weekend and well this weekend since its raining I had no choice but to clean. I could use a few extra days to get my upstairs done the way I really want it.
Liz I'm with ya on the hair, I need a cut and color too, just the roots. I hate sitting in the beauty parlor ICK. Have fun today. BIL is conscious, they want him to start to move more b/c of the lungs. Thanks for asking

It is a rainy & cold Saturday here in Ky after a sunny week all week!
I still walked in the pouring down rain.When I am" on a roll."I am on a roll....6th day in a row on this roll! I listened to Praise and Worship music and hardly noticed the rain dripping off my visor. I have a new pedometer and love checking out the time etc!
Daughter came & picked me up.& we went Thrift shopping...............got several deals.nice pants & dress blouses.in fact I got 2 pair shorts,1 pair pants,2 dress blouses & one new t shirt all for $21.....brand name stuff at that!
Then we went to Target.......man was it crowded..came back home to make grocery list and go out AFTER a little nap!
Yes Cathy.I did work Thurs & Friday which I usually do not do..........never did get to post yesterday!
I intend to do a little ironing later and relax the rest of the evening & tomorrow!
Leens..I will pray specifically for your BIL right now!

Got my hair done as did dd13...............then we all went out for lupper.........now dd7 is playing outside with her little friend and dd13 is going to hook up with a couple of her girlfriends and go to a movie.

Today was weighin....I lost 0.4 lb. this week....altogether 15.8 lbs. since November....it's slow....but it's going in the right direction.
DH is replacing some of the boards on the deck today....I stayed home....did some vacuuming....a bit of cleaning also.
At 6 tonight DS3 called....he lives here in town....at that time I was making supper....he asked me if I would go pick up a birthday cake for his GF's birthday....the place was closing....but they stayed there for me to pick up the cake...DS3 had to work late....so off I went to the bakery to get the cake....stuck it in the freezer. DH & I were eating supper ar 7.
My DH said I have been chirpy all week....he said I haven't been like that in years....so the Celexa must be working.
Hi all, I'm doing good today. Actually I've been pretty good for a few days. I think the winter SAD is finally over. I'd like it if our weather would improve to normal temps and sunshine, but it's not depressing me anymore.
I cleaned some today, went shopping with DS. He's 19 and is the one that's moving out in 2 weeks. He's trying to save every penny for moving out and he needed some new jeans. So I bought them and a Star Wars t-shirt for him. I had fun with him. His girlfriend came over and DS18 is here. We're going to have dinner together - a first in a long time. I rarely see my kids since they go to work and school all the time, so this is really nice.
