Angry It's just one of those days!

ya'll are too cute!

I just finished my 2nd cup of but I think I may need another one or two. I didn't get much sleep last night and tonight I'll be dropping kids off at midnight to get on a big beautiful traveling bus to head to Florida for their big band trip.

Ok ok ok, I know ya'll are wondering why I didn't get much sleep so I'm gonna tell ya (hmmmmm I must need to talk about it)... But I was really mad and couldn't get to sleep. Me and hubby (not dear hubby today) had a stupid argument about money. We have nothing else to argue about at our house so when we have an argument it is over money. Don't know why we argue about it - we have none to argue about - but anyway we do.

One of the things that really bothers me is that of course both of our guys are around (because we are never alone) while we are fussing about money and they can hear everything we are saying and things got said about how expensive the band trip is (even tho youngest ds is paying for half of it with his own money) and I think it ruins it for him - makes him feel bad about the trip. Of course, I reminded hubby that they could hear him and that he was ruining things for Christian and that was when the argument stopped.

So now I'm just MAD! stupid huh! so silly really - this stuff ain't even important!

*sigh* I know where his aggravation comes from - he is tired, working long days, and has lost a few yards, so he is making less money and you know how guys are about that kind of stuff - but it still makes me mad to argue about such stupid stuff!

Oh well ... A nice long brisk walk at noon will help clear my head - right? Cause right now I'm thinking about a zillion things I'm fixing to say to hubby and I don't care who gets "hairlipped" over it. (do ya'll use that saying?)

Ok I'm thru ranting for now (I think).

So how did everybody else sleep last night?

hugs,
cathy

*I* don't think it sounds stupid or un-important. We're women!! We vent about these things!! So vent away!! We're here for you with open arms.

I got only 3 hours sleep. I have alot going on myself. I was on the phone for 4 hours last night with a dear friend. Well, we start to talk about the old times, and the old times bring up old feelings that really haven't went away to begin with and then I start getting all teary-eyed and can't sleep!!! Ugh!! Sometimes I wish I could just turn my heart off but...my personality just won't let me and then some things/people get the best of me. Ah well..Tis better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all.

Have a good day all!! I am going to try to go back to sleep. Tonight we lock in 1st place on our bowling league and I want to at least attempt to make an appearance.

Good morning all

I am drinking my 2nd cup of coffee now....we didn't get snow last night....we were supposed to....it was only +3C when I woke up today....DH says it feels like there is an arctic front out there.

Cathy.....I think we all argue with DHs about money at times or other things....I know there are times when I am mad at mine....the counselor I see says one thing we shouldn't do is argue about is money.....but it happens.

Not much else new here....will be doing some cleaning & laundry today.

Hi Noodles....I guess we were typing at the same time.

April

P.S.....I notice that there is another April here....now.....I wonder if I should use my real name instead of April?

Thanks Noodles. Hope you get some sleep! Congrats on 1st place in bowling!

April - I totally agree with your counselor! it is not worth it to argue about money. it is not important and arguing about it changes nothing. And just for the record I wasn't the one raising cain about it, he was. That's why I am so mad. I was just trying to explain why there was no reason for him to be aggravated about "nothing" and he strongly disagreed. But ya know, it is really stupid for us to argue about money, you either have it or you don't, you either like how it got spent or you don't - still doesn't change a thing and who's got time to be aggravated over stupid stuff?

April - remind me what your real name is - I have the worst memory. it doesn't matter to me what name you use - we will know you either way. I won't be confused if you still use April, but you are welcome to do whatever you feel comfortable with. (see how aggreeable us women can be)

where is the rest of our gang these days?

Hi Ladies,

April, it was a cold one here this morning too, had my winter jacket on burrr.

Noodles congrats on your team being tied for 1st place !! Can you imagine if we could tune our hearts any which way?? it would be a miserable world, I'm awfully glad we can't. Our hearts is what makes us who we are

Cathy, no, its not stupid to feel the way you do. But I think your right about arguing in front of the boys, I remember my parents just talking about how expensive things were that I never asked to go to skating parties w/my friends, or the prom OR to get a gold class ring b/c I felt guilty, I'm kinda glad NOW as an adult that I was the way I was when I was younger, meaning I didn't want to put any more financial burdens on my parents and that I thought about them instead of me, but I have to be honest, at the time it did hurt me not to go places or have nice things. I lived lol. And btw its good to share your feelings w/us, isn't that why we are here. Did your walk help?

Liz watcha do today ?

Well off to bed soon, its thundering here like crazy, odd for May.

Hugs

Just a late night post here...

Well I managed to get my nap in!! Then I soaked in some warm water for a while and went bowling.

Our bowling team clinched 1st place tonight!! YAY!!! I didn't realize it but we were ahead by 8 games as it was. I would of brought them down into the gutter had I bowled the last 2 weeks. I couldn't even see the pins tonight...but somehow I managed to bowl a 163, 165, and 191. I won the spot of the year for Womens High Series Handicap. Our team took spots of the year for: High Series Scratch & Team High Series Handicap. I can't wait for banquet night! We get casholina and trophies and awards!! I also claimed a 50 pins over average award last Saturday on my other league. Now it's time to take the summer OFF bowling wise, and concentrate on jump rope tournaments. Phew!!

Leenie: Yea, our hearts are what make us who we are. I just wish mine had an On/Off switch at times. I could sure use it at times!

Cathy: Thanks!!

Aprilpepper: Those are hillarious!! I like #5!! Even though I have been wrong in many situations and admit it, why should I be wrong??

April99: I like the name, Bobbie!! I think it's very pretty.

Hey Leens.......thanks for asking.....didn't do much today......took dd 6 for a playdate...she didn't have school......got my hair cut and foiled blonde.....hung out with dd 12 for a while at lunch as she had early dismissal.....then picked up dd 6....took dd 12 to buy a new backpack.....took both girls home.....got ready for work and then worked from 315-2330 h.......still feeling a bit discouraged about dd 12 and her troubles at school...not sure how to help her most.....try to show her the part she plays in her troubles....but support her at the same time.....

I want to rescue her but I have to help her get through it........say a prayer for me......if you don't mind.

I'll check in tomorrow.
