I am taking the children to the zoo today after I shower and feed everyone lunch..hope to make it there by 2 at the latest..but it is 11 now. I got my treadmill in today, and email/internet is my reward.
My hips, thighs, and big ol butt will love the big sloping hills at the zoo. LMAO.

I am running around this house like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get it clean. It's bad folks I'm telling ya it's Bad!!! Leenie - guess who's dvd I have playing sky high while I'm cleaning........ Third Day. :-)
I've got to get this place in order (been 3 weeks since I've cleaned) and then I've got to get myself cleaned up and get my youngest ds into town to meet his girlfriend for their pictures for Prom. She is in town all day getting herself all dolled up for tonight. After pictures they are going out to eat supper and then to the Country Club for the Prom and then out to breakfast with friends at midnight and then I would imagine he will be sleeping until noon tomorrow. He asked if he could sleep in tomorrow since they will be getting back so late, and we figure since Prom only comes around once a year that it'll be ok for him to miss Church in the morning.
Oldest ds is at a leadership conference with the Student Ministry from college. Don't ya know they're getting a lot of sleep. NOT
DH is outside mowing our 7 acres and boy does it need it. He has been so busy getting all of his customer's cut and cleaned up after winter that ours is always last - but I don't mind one bit - just glad when ours finally gets done cause it looks sooooooo nice.
Ok am I rambling yet???
sorry - I think I'm dilly dallying to keep from getting back to this house. Oh well, I've played on here long enough.
Well at the moment I wrote the post this am I wasn't doing anything but then I got bored and started cleaning, went to the store, played outside, gave the dog and grace a bath, not at the same time but close, cooked dinner, played with playdough and put the wee one to bed..... I'm pooped lol.
Cathy how did your busy day go ?
2 weeks is easter ya know. I need to get this place in top shape so every night I'll do a little something so it doesn't hit me like a brick come good friday.

Leenie - I knew you wouldn't stay doing nothing for long! are you have your family over on Good Friday? is that why you're keeping everything straightened up?

We're not going to church this morning. I think we're churched-out or something. R did just get a phone call to see if he'd usher for Easter.(Leenie, it was BF phoning! )
Our resident mental case from the church is on another rampage. (If anyone is offended by that, please send me your phone number and I'll pass it on to her! I guarentee that one conversation with that woman and you'll join the "That woman is nuts" club!) She needs a lot of prayers.....
I can't say if things are better with DD or not. SIL is in N. Carolina visiting his DB. I gave up trying to give DD advice. It is like banging my head against the wall. Gee, like I've never seen a marriage fall apart in the 61+ years I've lived! What will be, will be!
Am going shopping later, after going a bit of laundry.

Cathy I have the family over on Easter Sunday but Good Friday the sisters will come over and help me start getting ready (cooking).
Jenni, how was the zoo ?
Well my food shopping is done for the week, I picked up lots of meats and veggies. I have a pot roast, oven roaster and meat loaf all cooking right now for the week. I picked up 6 heads of cauliflower at 99 cents each and they were nice and white this time usually they are brown for that price.
Its going to be nice here weather wise so we are going to head on outside soon and open the windows to get some of that spring fresh air in the house, love it.
Leenie.. the zoo was fun for the children. They made squirrel feeders with pinecones, peanut butter, and bird feed. My 4 yr old dd, (who should know better, really) was *eating* the feed. Ugh. I tried to get her to quit but she can be impossible. She thought it was tasty, apparently. They slept well last night..tuckered me out, really.
Tippy..sorry that you are dealing with the nut lady. Yeah..I try to avoid people like that because it can be contagious. About DD..maybe she will come around to appreciate your advice. It is hard, I know, but sometimes all you can do is lovingly speak your piece and let it be.

It is supposed to top out near 80 today in SW Indiana; YIKES. Not to worry..in Indiana if you don't like the weather blink a few times and it is something else. It will be back in the 50's by mid week. LOL.
Sorry i haven't been around too much. Weekends are hard for me to get on the PC as much as I'd like too. Friday I had a jump rope performance to attend, then dinner and tennis. Saturday was bowling then hub and I went out for coffee & dessert (I had SF pie.) Today I'm running off to my Aunts for the Sunday Ritual. Next week is going to be crazy for me...I'm preparing for a BIG tournament and preparing for a vacation. Gotta keep busy!!

Tippy - I'm so sorry! I can tell you are discouraged bout things. I can read it in your posts. Wish I could help girlie! really I do! I wish I could just snap my fingers and fix it all. But I will continue to pray pray pray. Please keep us posted. and keep chatting with us - it'll keep you sane
It is beautiful outside here today. I'm fixing to grab me something good to sip on (coffee or tea or diet coke or something) and go sit out on the porch and rock in my rocking chair and enjoy the weather.
