Good Afternoon Chickadees!

It's a busy day around here. I feel asleep before 9:00 last night. I was really tired. I heard the phone ring a few times, and teenagers moving around, but hubby was up and keeping an eye on things. You know teenagers just get going about the time I am ready to pass out.

This morning I got up and ran youngest ds to take his ACT, came back and did a 3 mile walk aerobics tape with 3 lb hand weights in each hand. Afterwards I did 15 minutes of strength training with 10 lb weights in each hand on my exercise ball. Then I colored my roots and got all cleaned up. Have been picking up and washing LOTS of clothes and sheets. Ran back at noon and picked up Christian from his test. It was much harder then he thought it would be. He left hoping for a 23, and now says it will be a miracle if he even makes an 18. In a few weeks we will see how he did, but it is his first time to take it and he had no idea what to expect.

I have a big tinfoil sack of fresh veggies cooking in the oven. They smell so good. It is onions and bellpepper and cauliflower and brocolli and seasonings (a little salt & pepper & olive oil & butter)

Got plenty of things to do around here after I eat my veggies. YUM I just pulled them out of the oven - they are so good! Market Basket had all kinds of bunches of veggies for 88 cents each. of course the cauliflower was $2 a piece, but that doesn't bother me bec I love cauliflower!

Leenie? are ya'll eating lunch at your in-laws today? or just visiting? have fun!

Lynnie - glad you're feeling a little better today. My mom suffers with migraines and they are almost unbearable.

April - chinese food sounds good to me! I haven't had that in awhile.

What's everybody else up to today?

hugs,
cathy

Mr Clean Eraser - now I have never heard of that but it sounds like something I would like? Is it something like a rag that you wipe things with? please do tell. I'm all ears!

Angry Hello Ladies

I'm here all by myself-enjoying the peace and quiet!

Lynnie: Glad you're feeling better today Chili sounds like a good idea for this cold weather.

Leenie: Hope you have a good visit w/your in-laws

Cathy: Baked veggies-a nice healthy lunch . You've had a busy day already! I've seen the Mr. Clean eraser at Wally World. It's only about $1.50 or so. It looks like a sponge, and is supposed to be good for removing things like heel marks on the floor, etc.

April: Hope you enjoyed the Chinese food. A splurge every once in a while doesn't hurt

Tippy, Kemp, CIN, JudoMom, and anyone else out there: Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Joanne, peace & quiet ???????? I don't comprehend that ?????

April yes I have a box of those Mr. Clean things in my cabinet, my sister told me about them and how well they clean markers, pens, CRAYONS, etc... worth every penny so I ran out and got one .... just incase lol.

Cathy, I've been so tired this week also, and antzy, I think this weather is really getting to people b/c even when I'm driving I am anxious and for no reason. OY huh.

Lynnie you THINK??? you need a shower, PEEEEEEEW girlie I can smell you from here...get your *** in that shower Just joshin, its good to see your exercising.

Yes we went to Inlaws for lunch, I had boston markets cesars salad, it was very good, I ate only 1/2 of the dressing and no crutons....came home and hung my head low b/c I dived into a box of chocolates ........ oh the shame.

Tomorrow's a new day THANK GOD!!

Cathy, I'm getting ready for induction, I REALLY need it. Next weekend we are going out to dinner w/a bunch of folks , a buffet mind you. So If I can be extra good until then and the day after Sunday start Induction I'll be a happy camper....so I'm planning well for it.

Angry Good Day Ladies

It's a beautiful sunny COLD day down here!

Leenie: I'm starting a food plan tomorrow. I'm not brave enough to do Atkins or South Beach, but I'm cutting back on carbs and fat. So what did I do yesterday? I had a CARB FEST! And guess what-I felt lousy afterward Breakfast this a.m. was healthy-soft boiled egg, 2 pcs. whole wheat toast w/a little margarine, small glass of o.j., and coffee. One of the things I "enjoyed" last night was I know that I'm not going to be able to fit pizza binges into a healthy food plan. It's not going to be easy, but with your support and JESUS-I can do it!

My ride to church should be here soon-have a wonderful day

Lynnie I've only had two migranes in my life and let me tell you, I pray I never get another one, those are awful awful awful. Take it easy.

Joanne, yeah I started out the day yesterday really good then I let myself believe it was okay to go hog wild what can you do huh. Today I am determined to be really good.

I have to do laundry today, grocery shop and play w/the wee one. The sun is actually out today, something rare around here, so I will be out enjoying it later on.

Have a wonderful day everyone

Good Afternoon Gang! I think I could use a nap. It's cloudy and damp and COLD here. Sunday School and Church were good this morning and then we ran home, warmed up lunch and then I ran back for a baby shower, and visited (during the shower) with an old friend for 2 hours. We talked about chemical imbalances. Sometimes it is just so nice to talk to somebody who understands a little about what you have been thru with your family and dealing with chemical imbalances.

I totally blew my diet today. I think I'm gonna have to hurry up and start induction and quit thinking about it, bec its sort of like I'm panicking on the inside about what I will not be able to eat on Atkins and thinking that I have to have a bite of everything now. I'm just wondering if I could possibly stick with it this week if I start in the morning??? goodness things are so busy right now with me running around. hmmmmm I'll give it some thought tonight and let ya'll know tomorrow. I know ya'll are just on the edge of your seats wondering what oh what will I do.

What's everybody doing today?

see ya'll tomorrow

hugs, cathy

Cathy, dear Cathy, don't panic, I don't ever say I can not have anything on atkins, I just plan a day when I can have what I want, well yesterday wasn't planned lol, but you know what I mean, dont get all worked up about this, you are trying it out to see if works for you, thats all, no diffeent than any diet you've been on. If you are not ready to do it this week then don't, you are setting yourself up. You really need to physc yourself out about starting it and doing well, like I said, I gave myself almos 2 months of prep b/4 I did. I knew I had lots of parties and things to go to and I wanted to wait until it was all done b/4 I committed to such a plan.

You don't sound ready. Seriously, think about it long and hard, are you ready to lose weight? are you ready to dedicate at least 6 weeks to see if this is for you.

Its really not as bad as you think, after induction, which two weeks will fly by, youll see. There are so many good things on the market, atkins bagels which hubby had and liked alot (the regular bread is eh). There's chips, ice cream, cheese cake, whipped cream, bacon, cheese, all sorts of good stuff.

I'm going to bed now, so I will talk to you more tomorrow. HUGS and sleep well.

Love Yah !
