Kemp - thanks for the info yesterday on waxing and such. I've never had any of that done, and don't plan to at this point, but may be thinking about it in 20 years.
How you like this crazy weather? Yesterday it was 70, this morning it was below freezing at my house.

Candy - thanks for the info on WLS! I realize it is not as easy as some are making it out to be, and who knows what happens years down the road for these patients. But just wanna clarify for everybody - I AM NOT EVEN THINKING ABOUT SUCH A THING - was just saying that I wish I could change my body chemisty and mainly that I wish I could lose 45 lbs in 7 weeks. AND GREAT BIG CONGRATS on being pregnant!!!!
is this your first? talk to your talk about WW if you are. I thought they had a program for women who were pregnant. Cin might be a good one to ask about that! keep us posted!
Did anybody watch Dr. Phil yesterday? I saw bits and pieces cause work was busy but I have it taped and hope to watch it tonight. Had lots of little good tidbits about weightloss but I really wanted to hear what he said about stress and losing weight. I thought I heard him saying (and have read before) that when you are stressed your body produces such and such and makes it hard (or keeps you) from losing weight. Will have to take notes when I watch it. I know that the stress in my life, especially over the past 4 years (my gosh has it been that long) with my son's chemical imbalance has definitely stressed me. Maybe it has something to do with blocking any weight loss? I need to do some reading on it. May be one of the reasons my doc encouraged anti depressants to give me some relief, but I don't feel I need to go that route at this point - I'm just taking outloud here. Also the Thyroid book I recently got suggest anti depressants when you have a thyroid problem and said that some people can't lose without them. I wasn't sure where they were going with that, but it may be bec of whatever chemicals your brain release when you are stressed. But heck, the whole world is stressed and THEY are losing weight. I'm still just talking outloud here....I'm not discouraged...I'm here, exercising, eating right, drinking water, taking care of myself and everybody else....so nobody worry.
