Talking Tuesday, January 27th CHAT

Good BURRRRR Morning,

Today is my 14th wedding anniversary Its funny because when we got married it was around 50 degrees out, I remember the girls sweating in their dresses. Today its 15 degrees out and we are expecting tonight 2" of snow an hour

I did really good w/my eating yesterday, did good w/the carbs and sat fats so I'm a happy camper.

How's your day going ?

I'm going to run and get some vanilla coffee (Cathy, vanilla coffee is just flavored coffee, Folgers makes it, you can buy it in just about any store) and some turkey bacon

TTYL

Wow Leens 14 years. That is great. Do you guys have anything planned? Good going on the food too.

April I will have to check about the connection of treatment and thyroid cancer. I have never heard of that but it would be intersting to find out.

Not to much going on down here in the cold south. Sorry you guys up north but we are just now getting into our really winter. They say that tonight the coldest air of the season will be coming down. I am just thankful we don't have to go through this very long.

Good Morning Chickadees!

Sorry I'm so late getting in here. My server has been down all morning so I had to work instead of running in here to play with my 3fc buddies! lol

Leenie - CONGRATS ON YOUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! Were you married in the same area that you now live? Thanks for telling me about the Vanilla Coffee. I am definitely gonna try that. I saw on the daily food log how great you did yesterday on both carbs and calories! YOU GO GIRL!

Kemp - thanks for the info yesterday on waxing and such. I've never had any of that done, and don't plan to at this point, but may be thinking about it in 20 years. How you like this crazy weather? Yesterday it was 70, this morning it was below freezing at my house.

Lynnie - GREAT BIG CONGRATS on the weightloss! you go girl! We all told you it would show up this week. Now aren't you glad we know so much!

Candy - thanks for the info on WLS! I realize it is not as easy as some are making it out to be, and who knows what happens years down the road for these patients. But just wanna clarify for everybody - I AM NOT EVEN THINKING ABOUT SUCH A THING - was just saying that I wish I could change my body chemisty and mainly that I wish I could lose 45 lbs in 7 weeks. AND GREAT BIG CONGRATS on being pregnant!!!! is this your first? talk to your talk about WW if you are. I thought they had a program for women who were pregnant. Cin might be a good one to ask about that! keep us posted!

Did anybody watch Dr. Phil yesterday? I saw bits and pieces cause work was busy but I have it taped and hope to watch it tonight. Had lots of little good tidbits about weightloss but I really wanted to hear what he said about stress and losing weight. I thought I heard him saying (and have read before) that when you are stressed your body produces such and such and makes it hard (or keeps you) from losing weight. Will have to take notes when I watch it. I know that the stress in my life, especially over the past 4 years (my gosh has it been that long) with my son's chemical imbalance has definitely stressed me. Maybe it has something to do with blocking any weight loss? I need to do some reading on it. May be one of the reasons my doc encouraged anti depressants to give me some relief, but I don't feel I need to go that route at this point - I'm just taking outloud here. Also the Thyroid book I recently got suggest anti depressants when you have a thyroid problem and said that some people can't lose without them. I wasn't sure where they were going with that, but it may be bec of whatever chemicals your brain release when you are stressed. But heck, the whole world is stressed and THEY are losing weight. I'm still just talking outloud here....I'm not discouraged...I'm here, exercising, eating right, drinking water, taking care of myself and everybody else....so nobody worry.

Soooooo like, where is the rest of our gang today?

And hey!!!! we have some activity on our daily food log thread if anybody else wants to join us!

Later gaters,
Cathy

Default Hi Gang

Good Morning Gang.................
Good afternoon too!

I have been busy and not on the computer much so I dont know what has been posted lately. I take it everyone is doing well !

I did note something about pregnant and Weight Watchers. WW no longer allows pregnant members. They want you under a Doctors care and to return after the baby. No exceptions.thats all I can tell you for sure!

It is cold and snowy here today. I am leaving to return to work in a few minutes.

Congrats on yor 14th Leens! That is a blessing in deed! be thankful for a good husband and blessed marriage!

Later Taters!
Cin

Hey April, if it were -29 in Louisiana I promise you that nobody would be leaving their houses! I don't even know if people in Louisiana could survive that, but of course, our homes are not set up for cold weather like that. Hey? what do you make a doggy birthday cake out of?

Hey Cin, I know you are busy girl! but I'm glad you dropped in for a quick post. You'll have to give us details of your busy life when you have some time.

hugs,
cathy

Aww Happy Birthday Charlie, April we celebrate our doggy's b-day too. I usually get her pound cake and put some whipped cream on top, shoot she love anything we give her, just as long as it is sweet lol. Heck, so do I.
