Question Why do you get depressed when you lose weight?

Losing weight can be a challenging process, and it's not uncommon for individuals to experience feelings of depression or sadness during their weight loss journey. This may be due to a variety of factors, such as the stress of making significant lifestyle changes or feeling like progress is slow. It's important to prioritize mental health and seek support when needed to maintain a positive mindset.

Absolutely! Weight loss can be a challenging process, both physically and mentally. It's important to remember that weight loss is a journey that takes time and effort, and it's not always easy. Some people may experience feelings of depression, sadness, or frustration during their weight loss journey, which can make it difficult to stay motivated and committed to their goals.

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health when it comes to weight loss. Here are some tips to help prioritize mental health during a weight loss journey:

1. Set realistic goals

2. Celebrate small victories

3. Seek support

4. Practice self-care

5. Focus on non-scale victories

Remember that mental health is just as important as physical health, and it's okay to ask for help and support when needed. I recommend Rivia Mind which aims to make mental health services more accessible, convenient, and affordable for people who may be struggling with mental health issues but have difficulty accessing traditional in-person therapy. By offering online therapy services, they hope to remove barriers to mental healthcare and provide support to those in need.

I do not know. May be because I limit myself with the food I like to eat on daily basis and that makes me depressed. Or lack of vitamins. But i try to take them and supplies which I buy at Canadian Pharmacy to keep my body well.

Yes, no doubt, I agree, that losing weight is a tough challenge and a tough routine too. Especially when your routine is so tight and you don't have time to exercise. Somehow I feel so stressed about how to lose weight with this messy routine. Sometimes I get away with this routine but responsibilities are necessary.

Losing weight can sometimes make you feel sad or down. It might be because changing your habits and routines can be hard and stressful. Also, you might have to deal with your feelings about yourself and your body, which can be tough. If things don't go as you hoped, it can be disappointing too. But remember, it's important to take care of your mind as well as your body. Don't be afraid to ask for help or talk to someone if you're feeling down. You're not alone in this journey.
