Completely agree, I used to struggle with depression, although I was on a diet. The most important is to take care of your health and not to focus on losing weight. If you're losing weight too quickly or in an unhealthy way - you will put on weight again later or sooner.
Depression is quite a problem. I tried to deal with by visiting a psychologist two times a week, strolling in the parks and listening to relaxing sounds. Also, I tried
heliotherapy for this purpose, it did help me for some period of time. I guess, it was the result of all efforts. I would recommend using red light therapy for everyone additionally. It will improve your health, as well as help with stress.
The point is, as soon as you noticed any depression symptoms - visit the doctor, it's very important not to forget about yourself and to be surrounded by people who really want to help you.
