  • good afternoon everyone!

Pat my second full day was yesterday; I am getting confused with the days Monday was the 3 1/2 hour Orientation; then Tuesday and Wednesday were 'regular' work days. Yesterday I was put on stations I had done the day before so I was familiar and that was good. I finally *got* how to pack those monitors! I put the logos together 'and made them kiss' lol.

My wonderful cardio schedule had gone to heck, I have to get used to this schedule and get up at a reasonable time in the morning!

Hope everyone has a good day 8)
  • Holly oh wow, kissing "logos". Sounds intimate glad that you are so quickly becoming familiar with the station you are at. Re balancing the new work schedule with other routines, e.g. Cardio, it will take time. You may find more bonuses to the whole thing. Eg waking up in the winter after the sun has risen?

    Hi lisa <3.

Has panda ever stayed away for this long before?

I hope everyone has a great Friday

Pat that works for me! However what about this stretch of crummy weather?? it's been at least a week since the sun has been out. Well I guess it's better than that four letter word that begins with "s".

Yesterday at work they pulled me off the boring but easy kissing monitors and put me to making axles. Take an axle out of the super greasy box, drop it into a washer-thingy and screw a gear-thingy on the bottom repeat about 200 times.

Yes we haven't seen Panda in so long!!

Hello to Lisa, Kathleen, Coop! and the newbies, please pop in again!

I just weighed and It shows up 2+ pounds from last week. I know I've been eating more, and eating stuff that we usually don't have around. DH was celebrating that tests showed clear for prostate cancer so he bought celebratory foods, bagels, rolls, some sweet things. It is contradictory to unhealthy when you are celebrating a good health deal isn't it!! everything is almost gone so back to the straight and narrow path.

I just checked and it;s been 6 solid days of gray, overcast, or steady or light rain!! raining hard now and clouds so low they're like at treetop level. Well, we won't run out of water

make your own sun and have a great day!! OH hey this is the first weekend I've had off in forever!!!
  • Hi Holly
Congrats to your husband on his negative tests for Prostate cancer. I completely understand celebrating with carbs. I bet it was not low quality ingredients. I need to stop celebrating every day with food, lol. OMG today I had way too much chocolate. It seems to be how I am getting through these days.

AWESOME re having the whole weekend off. Congrats on that. I hope you are able to amuse yourself while on the line at work. Greasy axles. do you get to listen to music? The great thing is that if they paid what you wanted in an entry level position, I bet there is room for raises. woohoo (if so)

yes the rainy cloudy weather pattern waited for autumn and from what I have heard, it is predicted to continue through the winter. Our drought is done. Good for the wells etc to get the rain. They were running dry in many areas. But I do not want a cold snowy winter. I do not drive well in snow Sunday was nice and sunny though.
Monday I take my car to the tire place to have my winter tires put on. I bring Trader Joe's mini peanutbutter cups when I go there. I did not have enough self control. I ate 4 of the 40 mini pb cups. 60 calories each. Total of 240. Plus earlier in the day I ate chocolate callets. I am too dependent on chocolate atm. I kept it at bay substituting frozen peaches. But I cannot do that anymore. I need a good solution. So far, still looking.

I am wondering how everyone is doing. Hello out there to Lisa and everyone. I hope you all are okay. I hope everyone has a great Monday. <3 Pat
