I am so anxious today. I need to figure out how to make a car payment. I am pretty sick. Please keep me in your thoughts.

did you figure out how to manage the car payment?? I sure hope so!

I don't have a super-duper cell phone because we don't even have cell service in our hometown here, but it's not that important to me. We've had the same land line number for like 30 years. I use my cell phone for calling AAA (hopefully not that often ) and for calling home 'do we need milk'
So my cell phone is one of those burners you just buy minutes to load. I think we spend about $10 a month on it.

I've been working lots of hours at the summer job which ends in 2 weeks, just getting as many hours as I can, both in kitchen and working as a waitstaff person at night in the dining room.

Today is my one day off this week and I don't know where to start

I haven't worked out in like a month!! I need to get back to it, not just for calorie burn but for muscle tone that I need for winter shoveling. And for reduced blood pressure, etc.

I was wondering if I could join in here. I need a place to go for support and encouragement. I'm trying to watch what I eat and exercise regularly.

I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder about 4 years ago. I've been off and on medication since then but I eventually always get back on them. Right now I'm taking an antidepressant and some anxiety meds. I started back on them about a month ago and I'm finally feeling some relief from my symptoms

I'm a 36 year old happily married mother of two wonderful kids (10/13) and work full time. I'm married to my best friend who is very supportive but doesn't quite understand my disorder. He tries...bless his heart.

anyways, that's me in a nut shell. LOL. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. Thanks for reading

Hello and to Amy! Yes please do join us, when I am feeling weepy or sorry for myself I come here and Lisa always makes me feel better We have other ladies too, they post when they can.

It is so nice to read , amy, That you are married to your best friend!! that is so sweet. I'm glad that he 'tries' to understand. Sometimes that is all we need, to know they at least acknowledge and care.

Are you on a special type of eating plan, like Weight Watchers, or low carb, or just doing your own thing?

Lisa, I think it is so kewl (my biker-chick word for cool) that you are figuring out your nano!! I can't even figure out all our television / DVD / DVR / volume / remotes but that is so great that you got it cheap and are enjoying it. Rock on!!

so sorry to hear that the car payment is still a bad issue I don't really pray "to" anyone, but I can send my love and hope that it gets figured out

Some days my knee doesn't hurt at all, but today is not that day I've taken 4 naproxins and it only took the edge off. Grr.

Haven't ridden my motorcycle to work in almost a week now, I miss her!!

My POS car's turn signals do not always work I had it at the mechanic and they replaced the 'multi-function stick" (what we old people call the turn signal thingee) but I guess it didn't fix the problem! I'm sure people were cursing at me today because I wasn't signaling my turns. Well I'm sorry the goofy thing is, sometimes it does work. Weird. and Yes I am thankful that at least I do have a working car, well most of it works

It is so nice to be able to ramble on here about whatever.

Lisa, I'm glad to hear you have things worked out with your car. We paid our POS car off about 2 years ago and ever since then it's been slowing falling apart. It's not a newer car, I think a 2002 but I was kinda hoping to go a few more years without any car payments. The transmission is slowly going out, but we keep cruising along in it until it's on the side of the road, then we'll take action. LOL Good luck on your ear operation.

Holly- Hope your knee is feeling better today, I got some bad knee's too but I think it's mostly my weight. When I was in my late 20's I used to be a workout freak and I think that may have caused some injury to my knee as well.

As of right now I'm not really following any kind of special program. I just started back on my anxiety/depression meds so I'm kinda holding back until I know im ready to take on that challenge. But I am being aware of what I eat 'kinda' () and I'm trying to get in more exercise now that i'm feeling better. It's going to take a while but I know I can do it....eventually. I just gotta get my mind straight first.

Well, It's off to work I go. It's kinda crazy at my job right now. I work at a grocery store as a scanning coordinator and the store is doing a reset so it's madness right now. ( reset means that they're about 200 people in every aisle moving things around) my job is to make sure the prices and labels match the product....like I said, it's madness. And there are only two of us doing this job.

I know I'm a new girl but may I vent a little?
After work yesterday I came home and kinda ate too much. I don't feel too good about it this morning, sigh. I get frustrated with myself because I know what to do, I just don't do it. I'd rather eat junk and park my butt in front of the tv. and I have a good 60+ lbs to lose.
I feel like I keep 'putting off' my weight loss journey? Does that make since? I know that I have to do it but just not today. IDK.

wow you were up early Amy and OF COURSE you can vent I think I have the thoughts that only YOU know when you can 'buckle down' and really force yourself to follow through on your goals and if you're not feeling like it, it ain't gonna happen. So please don't beat yourself up mentally about eating too much on a particular day

I read all kinds of 3FC stories here, and it seems half of the success stories come from someone who has a 'breaking point' episode, and half are just 'one day I decided'

POS cars, lol. Well as long as mine runs and has heat and good tires, I shouldn't complain, but my previous car was one that I was proud of, it looked good on the inside and out, I wasn't ashamed to have anyone in it. Now I think if I give a ride to anyone, they're gonna pity me and I don't want that. I guess I just won't let anyone in my car

Lisa, Hi!! should we be worried that you have to go back for another mammogram?? thank you for your sympathy about my motorcycle, it's an addiction I know It was sunny yesterday but too darn chilly for me to want to ride it. I am hoping for Monday, supposed to be really nice and its my one day off.

well I have to shower and go to work, I have only 9 more days left of the summer job I love , though the front-of-the-house woman is being such a biatch to all of us, because she's tired and, well, just a biatch naturally I never know when she's going to be pleasant or a pain. Oh well.

Holly, supposedly they have found something on my left breast. It could be something, it could be nothing. I'll find out more information on Monday morning. In the meantime, I'm trying, trying, trying to keep my chin up. It's hard.
