Default My cycle totally threw me off...ugh

So I should start off by saying I ate like no tomorrow during Thanksgiving. So when I got back to my home away from home on Tuesday, I worked out harder than ever and not only did I run on the track for 30 minutes but I also did cardio on the treadmill and elliptical for an hour at the gym, followed by lifting weights, Wednesday, same thing.

Thursday, mostly cardio and I was feeling so so great about working my butt off and then there was Friday...dun dun dun!

On Friday when what comes to town...Aunt Flow...ugh.

I was basically ill most of the day...throwing up, feverish, painful cramps (which is something that never happens to me) like I've never thrown up on my cycle.

Later on that day I was so famished and wanted something hardy that I ended up eating Zaxby's and a piece of cake my roommate left for me to eat because I crave sweets on my period and I couldn't resist.

I felt like a complete and total failure yesterday. But today I did manage to get out of bed and go running on the track...2 miles (my first time doing that). The gym unfortunately was closed and I might just be doing another day of cardio tomorrow because it might be closed tomorrow.

I was so pumped this week to have a consistent 7 days of working out since I basically pigged out the week before but my menstrual threw me for a loop.

How do you resist menstrual urges like sweets while losing weight?
