You seem like a very bright, intelligent young woman, and I suppose you are fully aware of this. While there is nothing wrong with wanting to be in a loving relationship, you need to send signals that you are independent and perfectly happy by yourself, and once you do that, men will start reaching for you and wanting to be around you, because there's nothing more attractive than a confident woman, a woman that makes you fight to gain her interest or attention.
Take this time to focus on yourself, start doing something you've always wanted (I started taking ballet classed when I was 23 and I felt great even though I was the oldest there). Fill your life with things you enjoy, forget about what other people think, and forget about being someone's fallback, you deserve so much better than that!
