I'm at the start of my weight loss campaign, I haven't lost much at all, and this very sweet man from facebook wants to go on a date with me, he claims I'm ~pretty~ but I don't have may full body photos on facebook,
I'm just worried he has different image of how I look like in real life and I don't know what to do I don't feel right meeting him if he's only seen head shots of how I look.
I just don't want to disappoint him and myself

totally understand this, I met my husband online and it was a few weeks before I sent him photos, (didn't have facebook yet) or a digital camera either. When I finally sent him the photos he told me I was beautiful. My daughter also met her husband online ( he ended up living 5 minutes away, my hubby lived 11 hours away) and she is a larger girl and he thinks she is totally beautiful and she is a size 22.
I understand your caution though as I was 140 and in my 20's when i was married to my ex and he always commented on my body negativily.

not all men are obsessed with having a size 2 girlfreind. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are not what the number on the scale says!

I know how you feel though, I've had the same feelings and anxiety about meeting someone for the first time. I think the best thing you can do is send that full body photo or bring up your size in casual conversation.

Honestly, looking at your stats, 5'5" and 189lbs, it might be a case of you worrying too much.

Of course beauty is different for all men but you can't blame me for generalising haha
it's great to here you and your daughters found men online, i guess that shows there is hope!

and thanks mammasita, I am about a uk size 14 (sorry im not sure for american sizes) but maybe i will try to get a full body one soon and post it online, if he calls the date off afterwards then i know why lol!!!

Send a full body shot hun & leave the ball in his court. Like mammasita said though, I think you might be worrying for nothing. If he calls it off then its his loss & he doesn't deserve someone like you period.

I agree on sending him a flattering full body shot--or simply posting one on Facebook profile. I bet you look great. I know many women with your stats like yours who are beautiful.

Aw, I too think you're worrying for nothing. I'm sure he's attracted to much more than your looks to want to meet you.

I met my love online. I was super nervous prior to him driving those 4 hours to see me that I told him midway to turn back, I didn't want to disappoint him. I had only shown him head shots as well. Naturally, he refused & as soon as he had seen me, gave me the biggest hug imaginable. I've been in love ever since. Five years strong.
