Hi everyone. Though I haven't managed to get in for long periods, I have tried to keep up with the posts.
I've not felt well at all the last few days...I am deathly allergic to cats and guess one crossed my path Sunday. I ended up in ER Monday morning...after 3 breathing treatments and 3 prednisone tablets, I was sent home with an inhaler of Albuterol and 5 days of prednisone. My left lung was pretty bad. As of today I don't feel that much better but at least I feel like I don't have to gasp for the next breath. It is so scary when you can't breathe.
Along the way I have tried to do a few things around the house since the kids will be here some time during the holiday week. A good friend has come the last couple days and helped me out. Today we finished my living room...and Dad has a smile on his face that I think is permanent. Makes me so happy that he is so happy. We put a lot of stuff of his and Mother's into the room, pictures, knickknacks, etc. He now feels like he has a room of his own. I did threaten him before I let him into the room..that if he doesn't help me keep it up so that I can move on to other rooms and bring some order to the house, I will put him back into the den.

He says he will, he will....we'll see.
Cathy, your hubby had an angel no doubt protecting him. He is very lucky. So how much did you have to pay the guy to "lose" his bale of hay??

: just kidding
Marleah, welcome to a wonderful thread. These ladies are some of the best.
I have quit smoking by the way!!

Well, at least since Sunday evening. Think Chris and Dad feel better as their sinuses have given them less problems. Now if I can keep it going...It will be stressful

trying to lose AND quit smoking at the same time but I am determined to give it my best shot.
Hope everyone has a wonderful wknd...
