Liz-I am a mortgage loan processor...so I do home loans, mostly construction loans for people wanting to build a home. The builders are pushy, the appraisers are backed up, the borrowers are unqualified and uncooperative, and rates are at an all time low and we don't have the staff to meet the volume of loans we are doing. Somehow all my boss thinks about is overhead. Not the fact that people are working 50+ hours a week and leaving in tears. My mom works here too and she works 12-15 hours a week plus weekendsdoing 4 peoples jobs. We are having a meeting Monday so hopefully this issue will come up since the few of us here all agree. Anyways... sounds like everyone is having crazy things to deal with too...sorry Hope the weekend is better for you!

Hi everyone. Though I haven't managed to get in for long periods, I have tried to keep up with the posts.

I've not felt well at all the last few days...I am deathly allergic to cats and guess one crossed my path Sunday. I ended up in ER Monday morning...after 3 breathing treatments and 3 prednisone tablets, I was sent home with an inhaler of Albuterol and 5 days of prednisone. My left lung was pretty bad. As of today I don't feel that much better but at least I feel like I don't have to gasp for the next breath. It is so scary when you can't breathe.

Along the way I have tried to do a few things around the house since the kids will be here some time during the holiday week. A good friend has come the last couple days and helped me out. Today we finished my living room...and Dad has a smile on his face that I think is permanent. Makes me so happy that he is so happy. We put a lot of stuff of his and Mother's into the room, pictures, knickknacks, etc. He now feels like he has a room of his own. I did threaten him before I let him into the room..that if he doesn't help me keep it up so that I can move on to other rooms and bring some order to the house, I will put him back into the den. He says he will, he will....we'll see.

Cathy, your hubby had an angel no doubt protecting him. He is very lucky. So how much did you have to pay the guy to "lose" his bale of hay?? : just kidding

Marleah, welcome to a wonderful thread. These ladies are some of the best.

I have quit smoking by the way!! Well, at least since Sunday evening. Think Chris and Dad feel better as their sinuses have given them less problems. Now if I can keep it going...It will be stressful trying to lose AND quit smoking at the same time but I am determined to give it my best shot.

Hope everyone has a wonderful wknd...

Hi everyone,

Welcome Marleah!! glad you could join us. I feel sooo sorry to hear of everyones problems, I had always felt alone in situations like those, I've been through some of my own.

Hey Marleah! I felt reeal heart broken to hear your hubby said those things, I don't know how to tell you this, I know I don't know you at all and we've never talked, but, he should not care a thing about weight, nothing at all, love is very, very deep, weight shouldn't affect it, not at all. I do understand how you must feel, we as women need to feel beautiful inside and out, and never worry about advertisements, because personally, I think alot of the models arn't perfect one bit.

I hope I didn't offend you, I didn't mean to, if I did.

Take Care of yourself.

Oh yea, Hi to Cathy, Leens, LindaT, Kempyd Liz, Amber,Eliz and everyone else. Have a great day.

LadyPal

Thanks ladypal! Thanks for the kind words. You are right of course but the way things SHOULD be and the way things ARE don't usually line up in this crazy world, lol.
