Default Friday, October 25th

Good Morning,

Oh am I glad its Friday, the boss finally left and won't be back until next Friday YAHOOOOO Can you tell I'm happy. This means I get to spend more time here and shopping

What are your plans for the weekend ? I'm planning on taking a trip to Walmart (45 minutes away) either tomorrow or Sunday, depending on the weather and how the bambino feels (she's got a cold). I love that store. I need to get some jeans for hubby and do a little grocery shopping. They have the best guacamole (sp?) dip, you can find it in the frezer section and stuff for side dishes. Its amazing how the store by me can charge $1.19 for a yogurt and the same thing at walmart is $0.50 and you know walmart is making a profit. I don't mind people making a profit but when its litterly screwing the public thats when it bothers me. I read in PC magazine that is cost approximately 40 cents to make a CD (music or dvd) and package it......and then they charge the public any where from $16.00 - $26.00.... sad huh...

WOW what a mouthful....get me going an look out

Anyway, have a great day and you know I'll be checking in later.

Love, Leenie

We werer going to clear our back patio away. We are going to build a deck. But, it is going to rain all weekend. Oh well, I guess we will going shopping instead. I have a great hubby. He loves to shop. He wants to go look for a new car. We already have a 2001 Accord but we really got screwed on the notes. We could have a whole lot more car for what we pay now. I shouldn't even tell you what he wants but here goes. A BMW. I shouldn't complain b/c it will be my car. He has a company car.

I am feeling better today cold wise, but we went to eat at a local mexican rest. last night so I have a slight hangover and am very BLOATED!!! I was bad!

Hey gang!

It is never gonna stop raining in Louisiana! We are soaked!
Tonight we have a high school football game because my youngest son is a drummer in the band. Wonder how they will perform in the pouring down rain? and even more important? how am I gonna sit out there in the rain and watch? hehe

Tomorrow they have another band festival and they will have to work the performances around the rain???

Oldest son is taking the ACT tomorrow morning. Hope he does well.

It's nice to see everybody's posts and keep up with everybody.

Busy at work tho, so I'm hurrying.

Later gaters!

hugs, Cathy

Kem, sounds like you had a great time, mexican and booze to me thats like wine and caviar haaaaaaaaaa !! yup I'm just a country bunkin that lives in the burbs Listen on the car thing... I used to work for a Cadillac dealer and you can get at the very least $2,500 off the sticker price without a sweat ALSO, when they try to sell you the extended warantee....its a good thing to buy but remember you can chew them down in price also !! People don't realize that you can talk them down in price when it comes to ANY option...I was a warantee administrator for GM.. hope this helps. We just bought a new Chrysler Town & Country (love it) and now his car that is 14 years old is on the fritz, so we need to get him another work van......... prices for that dang thing (an empty cargo van with 2 seats) is about $25,000 can you imagine, but they got you by the balls unless you buy used. Happy Huntin !

Cathy want me send you my galoshes / rubber haaa (sp?), stay dry. Isn't it funny, rain, snow or shine kids in bands and parades keep going. I remember being in a band (playing the horn - yup !) and marching in parades half frozen, soaked to the bone...ahhh the good old days

Have a good weekend.

Love Me

Leens,
I used to play the trumpet. What horn did you play? I remember the freeezing cold mardi gras parads that we had to march in. It had to be at least 7-8 miles long. And of course you don't just walk the whole time. You had to stop every so often and stand there for about 20 mins. By the time we got on the bus to go home my feet felt awful. The pain of standing on them and the cold didn't help. I don't know if I would consider that the good ole days. It was fun but.....

Cathy, you guys are getting more than we are. It heads our way but when it gets to Baton Rouge it seems to fizzle out. They still say it is going to rain though. I will take their word for it and head to Target to shop.
