You would honestly think that, after living in the country for ten years, I'd quit bawling everytime a cat gets killed in the road! Spitter was born here and was named that cause she would PSFFT at us everytime we picked her up. She decided, after a few years, to live at the farm across the road. But, she'd come here to eat and visit. In fact, she brought her kittens here last week.
Say, LindaT, do you remember how she "kitten kidnapped" Brat when he was a baby?? He came back thinner cause Spitter mothered everything and became skin and bones doing it.

Well, Spitter must not have been paying attention cause she got hit by a vehicle a little while ago. DARN! And worse, the damnable buzzards are trying to get her. My DH is driving 40 miles home, to bury her, cause good ol' Spitter deserves a final good-bye.

Tip, I am so sorry. I remember you talking about Spitter and how she mothered every little kitty she could find.

Hopefully she is in a better place, with lots of babies for her to mother, bowls of milk and meadows to roam in.

OY VEY!!!!! Spitter is alive and sitting on the window! The dead cat was the same coloring as her but rather messed up! I'm so happy! Am going to give her some treats!!!
