I had a thought regarding the chatroom during the day. What if everyone would check into it on and off during the day and see if we can strike up a chat? I know that there are a lot of lurkers that come to this board, so, if everyone tries, we might be able to make it as wonderfully popular as it used to be. It's worth a try. I will check in the chat eveytime I am on the computer and stay for five minutes or so. I can catch up on my bills that way.

Am getting organized for the weekend. Kitchen stuff, mowing the lawn and church. Oh, and shopping.

Also maybe we would have a better chance to catch each other if we all tried to check on the hour - like at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 - you know what I mean? when I check the chatroom, that is what I do - I try to check on the hour just because that had been mentioned before.

Everything is good and busy around here.

I'm with you Leenie - I'm not superstitious either - heck I can't even spell it so how could I be it??? my thoughts are - This is the day that the Lord has made - no matter what number it happens to be. ;-)

I also saw those lottery numbers for New York! My first thought was that it absolutely had to be rigged? i mean what are the odds of that happening? you are right it is freaky, weird, unbelieveable, beyond explanation (unless it was rigged - that would make sense to me)

I don't even know what all I have to do this weekend - somebody just usually points me in whatever direction I have to go about 30 minutes before I'm suppose to be there.

Hi Everyone,

Friday the 13th! Never bothered me either. Heck I walk under ladders and black cats only make me sneeze. Sooooooooo

We have a very large family outing planned tomorrow at the beach. My cousin owns a very nice beach house on the ocean, so we are expected to be about 55 for our gathering. I have some cooking to do, but can't get up the energy. I sometimes don't enjoy cooking anymore, knowing that I will not be enjoying my dishes. I am making two desserts, the potato and mac salad. Oh well, have no one to blame but myself, so I can't punish everyone else...so I will just have to muster up the energy and do it!!! Then the trick is to stay away from it or just taste a little

I wonder about the 911 lottery thing myself A little to coincidental to me, but I am very skeptical Would like to think that no one had anything to do with it but.........

Lots going on in Florida today...caught some more idiots trying to plot things. What a world we live in...

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...I am going to be extremely happy on Saturday, I will be with my two darling grandchildren.

It's friiiidayyyyyy

Got a weekend full of stuff to do and none of it terribly fun. Going to try and do some cooking this weekend.. makes it easy to eat well during the busy week if stuff is prepared /planned.

This weekend I have to go out and buy a paid of short w/o holes in 'em for my lunctime walks. I hope to start this endeavor on Monday, but we shall see.. All I need is 15 more mins a day. If I can figure out a way to do this in the evenings or in the mornings, I am going to try. I like playing on puter too much at lunch.. as well as this week my lunchtimes have all been cut short!


Church stuff on Sunday.. I got greeter duty, regular services, then the congregational meeting.. blech. Then chores at home. Monday rolls around next and off we go again.

Isn't it funny how we live from weekend to weekend, only to wish we had time to enjoy it?
