Default Monday August 26...Daily

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a very nice weekend. Hubby and I picked the honeymooners up at Bostons Logan Airport at midnight (Sunday). They had a wonderful time! Oh too be young again...

I had a non productive day on Sunday, did some laundry, exercised, caught up on the bills and then did a lot of sitting around. Guess I needed some rest cause I just couldn't get into anything. Hate when I waste a day...I just don't know how my husband can sit like that all day long...makes me crazy!!!

Well, welcome back Lizzie. Glad to hear your vacation went well.

Charlene...so sorry to hear about your son. I have three grown sons, so I know what you are going through. My oldest fell off his bike coming down a big hill at age 15, he is now 31 and is still having surgery on the darn hand and wrist. I think this is # 5. Not much more they can do for him, the hand and wrist are full of scar tissue and arthritis.

Leens...did you have sweet Gracie's party yet??? How did it go??

Linda...did you get my instant message I sent about 10:00 EST Sunday night. I had a little while to kill before we left for the airport, so I checked chat and no one was there, but you were on line so I figured I'd bother you.

I think I finally got rid of my carb cravings this weekend. I had a bad week with that last week. Exercised more today, so I think that helped

Hello to everyone else, have a great day talk to you all tomorrow.

Meg

We are entering week three of the kitchen renovation. Yesterday, R started putting up the cupboards. It's beginning to look like a kitchen although there is no stove, sink or nothing. and we haven't killed each other either! Wednesday, he returns to work and he claims that he will leave me with a working kitchen. Just who the H*ll does he think he is kidding. I guess he still thinks that, if it isn't done, there will be a realtors sign in the front yard when he gets home!

I didn't do much of anything yesterday since I hurt my knee while vacuuming the stairway. Everything is SO dusty. I spent most of my day playing games on the computer and keeping an eye on R. I was concerned that he might hurt himself. Actually he did. The grinder bit his finger...almost lost a finger.

So...I'm off to the hairdresser...gotta take care of those roots and catch up on the gossip.

Default Mornin'

Hi Ladies,

I guess it's really afternoon... I don't have much time to get here in the mornings recently.

Yes Meg, I got your message and I kept responding to them, but you obviously weren't getting my messages.. don't know why.

I sitting here eating my lunch and playing on the web. Grilled chicken caesar bowl pretzels and an apple.. oh heck, I just realized I forgot the mustard!! Did afew chores this weekend: grocery stores, trader joes, coffee place, pet food store, gas station. Church, and cleaning were the main activities for the weekend and I must say I did get a lot of cleaning done. My house is only partially a pit now... just yucky floors!!

Hurray hurray!! A 3 day weekend is on the horizon!! I am gonna try to get my chores done this week, so I can really enjoy the weekend...HA famous last words. Tonight for dinner is the last of my chicken honey nut stir fry and grilled veggies, then tomorrow.. maybe fish or else carribean chicken with pineapple salsa.. mmm

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.. check in and let us know what's new

Default Hi everyone

I'm fairly new here. I am having a great day today. Up early today & went to the mall with friends. It's a walking club--I think they do more socializing than walking. I guess I will need to get up earlier than 7 A.M. in order to walk with them.

I went & got groceries on the way home. There is laundry & some cleaning to do. Then there is the budget to do---i am behind on that!.

It's a beautiful day here & it's going to be hot again. I think it's the warmest summer here in decades.

Have a great day everyone.

April
