I am on several medications for depression and other psychiatric disorders. I am on enough that I don't know which is making me tired and hungry. Or if it is a combination. Is there anything that I can do? It seems to me to be a difficult cycle. I am depressed, so I take meds, meds make me tired and hungry, therefore I gain weight and then get depressed all over again. Sometimes this situation makes me crazy!

I really understand what you are going through and am in the same boat. It can be so difficult to get doctors to understand how much weight gain affects you especially when they are only focusing on your immediate mental health. I find that my weight gain due to psych meds (I can't work out which one either!) has started to really affect my mood. I know this may be something you may have tried before but I found keeping a rough food diary of when, and in what situation, I ate to be really helpful to working out what was making me overeat. I realised I seem to eat most of my daily food intake after 6pm which is also when I start to grow tired from my meds. From tomorrow I'm going to try have a nap after dinner and see if my cravings to snack will ease off.
