Talking Happy Tuesday!!!!

Happy Tuesday Everybody!!!

I actually woke up BEFORE the alarm today -- a 1/2 hr early!!! That is an achievement for me!! lol. AND I feel GOOD! Well except my neck is aching for some reason, but other than that, I am feeling GREEEEAAAATT! You know what I think it is? I think I have been getting TOO much sleep! I know how can someone get TOO much sleep, esp with the hrs I work, but I think somehow my body does not need that much sleep and too much makes it feel worse?? I dunno its a theory. lol. Cuz this morning DH wanted to get his motorcycle permit and the BMV opened at 8 am and I get off work at 7 am. We got into our town about 7:20 am. So we grabbed some breakfast and then DH got his permit. By the time that was all over with and we watched "The Big Bang Theory" and "Two and a Half Men" it was a little bit after 9 am. We watched some tv in the bedroom and I think we went to sleep about 9:30 ish. Which is late for us. We usually are asleep by then. But I feel good. Weird.

I brung food tonight for dinner. Lastnight I did not bring enough and was STARVING by the time I got off of work, so to prevent that I brought enough to eat, if I don't eat it, I can just take it home.

It was hot today. It was 83 when I came into work this evening. It is still 77 outside. I hope it is nice when my mom comes up in two weeks......But I know if its not, its just being together that is important, but it'd be nice to get out and about during the day since I "normally" do not do that.

Well I am rambling away, aren't?? lol.

Thanks Leenie......

Buddly -- My DH is using the Patch, he says it helps a lot, plus his friend has quit with him. His Friend is using the nicorette gum. I am very proud of him. MIL put her foot in her mouth the other day. FIL asked DH how the quitting smoking was going and DH told him that it was 2 weeks yesterday and MIL says, "I didn't think you'd last that long" DH goes, "Well thanks for the confidence mom." She just has that little "filter" missing and just says whatever it is on her mind. lol. I'd have a difficult time too working there with 50% off.........lol. I'd just not bring any money or something......it'd be tough! I love A & W and miss it........... lol. But it sure don't miss me! lol.

TK!

Hi Hope, Cathy, Francie, Amarie, Heather! And anybody I may have accidentally missed!

Well I did go outside on my 1st break and walked. Just a few minutes, but it felt good to get up and move!!! I am doing what Paul McKenna said, add extra steps, so I can do this! And with DH's hrs changing to days, maybe we can take some short walks before the other one works as well! I am just really tired of being tired and movement is the key, no matter how small it is, every little bit helps I figure!

Well have an awesome night ya'all!

Morning all!

Well, the house is clean! Nothing like having strangers coming over to motivate one to finally finish the cleaning jobs! Anyway, had a friends mum over last night for a visit (never met her) while she was in town, and it was nice to have the place clean for a change.

I am dissapointed to say that I have not gone for a run in 5 days! Goodness, whatever happened?!? I was so exhausted this weekend at the agility trial, then I just never got back out. Huh. Speaking of the agility trial, I've attached a photo of my Penny going over a jump!

TK - I am sorry today is going rough I think its great that you are going to vent your frustration on the lawn!!! Take that you silly little blades of grass Grrr...... I usually vent my frustration on a cheesecake. Sigh.

Sassy - WTG on your break-time walk! Awesome. I like the idea of adding a few steps here and there. Makes it much less daunting, and every bit as healthy!

Cathy- as always, you impress me with your morning exercise fortitude!!!

Well all I better run. I'll check back in with yas later!

Hi Girls.

I didn't get up early today. And yes I feel like crapola. I'm all achy from it raining too. Ah well......lol

I also didn't go out and walk on my 1st break either. Maybe on the next one....Well its my "Friday" but My Weekend is cut short due to my new schedule. So not a real "weekend"

Amarie - Thank You. Yeah I will just keep adding more and more time and starting Sunday night I will be getting an hour lunch that I can walk on too.

K guess that is all.

Take Care.

Yeesh. We're a quiet bunch this week!

Hope everyone is doing well, or at least better than I am. I am struggling a bit again. Life is such a roller-coaster. Oh well. Tomorrow will be a brand new day!

Hey guys,

Amarie I'm struggling too. I'm kinda down and eating like crazy!! I've eaten so much and such bad stuff that I can't believe I don't get sick. It's like I can't get full. Since I've been home, I've slept most of Wed and Thurs. I was exhausted when I left my friend's house but I've slept so much that I'm sore from being in bed.

Tonight my workout buddy came over and we did a short workout. That is the first time since before I left for my trip. I have to get back on track just so I can stay awake. I'm not kidding either.

I found out that the job I've been waiting to hear from for a month now finally hired somebody. What on earth is going on? I haven't even heard from the desperate retail places. A friend of mine thinks that they won't call me b/c they think I'll just quit on them as soon as I get something better. Who knows at this point. I'm going to have to rethink my entire life and career plan (not that I don't do that everyday anyway ). Just shoot me!

Amarie: Penny is so cute! How fun! I thought about trying to train my 2 little Japanese Chins to do something similar just for fun. They are so full of energy it is crazy.

Tkglenn: How you feeling today? Did you get the yard mowed? Mowing is a much better alternative than stuffing your face.

What's up everybody else? Hope you all are doing well.

Nothing much is new with me. Although..we did get our new orders today!! The Navy gave us some drama at first..but then we ended up getting orders. We'll be moving to Annoplias Maryland!! I'm soooooooooo excited!!!!!!! I'm not sure yet when we'll be moving..but we'll find out soon, I hope.

Well..thats about it for now. My life is BORING, lol.

Tonight I ended up going to a bar to shoot pool with DF's biker group. I really didn't want to go b/c of my weight (and a few other reasons: not much of a drinker, hate smoke filled rooms, nothing in common... shall I go on? ). Only one week of binging and I'm back to my old ways of not wanting to leave the house. I hate trying to find something to wear and with the hot weather coming it's only going to get worse. The exercising I was doing before my trip was helping me get back into life, but how quickly that feeling can disappear.

My eating has been insane. Tomorrow I'm determined to get in a good workout just for my mental health regardless of what I eat. DF has to work Sat and Sun so I should have the time. He has been off for the most part the last couple of days and we've had a binge-fest.

Looks like from the last few posts I'm not the only one riding the ups and downs. Big hugs to all !

Sassy hang in there they say the sun is gonna come out tomorrow (geeze just call me annie). I always feel better when the skys are blue but lately its been to much with the rain. We need to live in the tropics lol.

Hope sorry for the bing, I had a biggie last night (all week really) and this morning I could crawl in my dryer and hide... I know exactly what you mean

Iris, do you exercise? if so, don't give that up. Over eating is one thing but when you don't exercise or you give up thats when the weight pours on I know its hard because they both seem to go hand in hand. I'm gonna get on my dreadmill today.... stinks doesn't it

Francie your gonna be an east coast girl soon... exciting. I'm glad your happy about the move.

Where is everybody?

Cathy, I did 2 miles today. Then I did 30 minutes of cardio dance. Thank God for curtains! I felt a little better mentally afterwards, but I'm slipping already. I think it will take a few days to help as much as it did before I left for my trip.

Not much else to tell. Hope to hear from some of you tomorrow. If not, Happy Mother's Day ladies.

Hi all! Just poppin in to say hi and

Well, we certainly are a matched set this week with our struggles, aren't we? I'm so sorry to hear y'all are on the roller coaster too. I dissolved into a binge the end of the week, and my body just feels so wrotten. I literally had to force myself to go do my C25K tonight. And still, all I can seem to thnk about is junk food.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on Penny. She's a total agility rockstar! And my running buddy, for which I am so grateful.

Well, I'm going to go to bed, I guess. Sorry I didn't do personals; love you all, I'm just frazzled.

Amarie
