Merry Merry, ladies - great to see you all, and Jo - here's a big 'I've missed you' hug!

We've done our stockings and are now heading out with the dog for a walk in the snow before opening the gifts under the tree. I have to say - considering where we've been recently, hubby is being great: he's making a very untraditional, super healthy Christmas meal so that I am not 'overeating' - and there's nary a chocolate in the house!!

Have a wonderful, happy Christmas Day, all!

Heather

Hi All.

Well I Christmas was good. Dinner was good and my inlaws got me way too much stuff. I felt totally stupid giving my mil a stupid candle. lol. I know its not all about $$ but still made me feel bad.

But I guess we're sorta giving her a present today, DH is taking her and FIL to the dr and doing shopping for them since they are unable to drive right now. Not much, but it helps, even though DH is a big huge Grump.......lol

Well that is about it. Back to work tonight..........then my normal 4 nights off.......I was thinking about emailling my boss asking him if I could possibly get off an hour early tomorrow, but not sure if I should.....its only an hour, but they say that right around the normal time I get off sleet is supposed to start, so if I could leave early, avoid the morning hr rush, etc........I guess all he could tell me is no or just totally ignore me. lol.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Sassy I'm glad your Christmas was a good one and that DH is taking care of Mom & Pop (driving that is). Sleet ?????? what state are you from?

Heather, I'm happy your DH was in the Christmas spirit....maybe he's starting to realize what a wonderful woman you are.

Today I am going to sit in my PJ's until about 3 pm and then its off to karate with my dd....then home and back into my PJ's HAAAAAAAAAA tis the season.

Everyone is sleeping..... this is so nice, the house is peaceful and my tree is just lovely in the morning light.

Have a wonderful day.

Happy Boxing Day from up here in Canada!

Well, despite my best intentions, I DID eat a bunch of crackers and a big lump of cheese (), followed by a cup of tea and some chocolate! And you know what? It was worth it - okay, not really, but I'm not beating myself up about it... the worst I'll have done is slow my weight loss down - big deal! It's NOT the end of the world AND... be proud of me - I did run 3 miles just to make myself feel better! So, yeah, the scale is reading 184.0 this morning - it'll pass That really is the only way to look at it - and I didn't even think there WAS chocolate in the house!!

Another big 'food' day today - parents are here for dinner, so my plan is to get back 'on track' tomorrow - not that that means I am going to scarf everything I can find!! For me - it just means eating anywhere between 500-1000 calories more than usual, like yesterday... okay, yesterday was closer to 1200 calories over, but yah, yah, whatever!

Glad to hear your Christmases went well - ours was very nice too Might actually brave the mall today and get some new pyjamas (in a smaller size!) and laze about my house in them, too, Leenie!! Hey, maybe I could go TO the mall IN my pyjamas???

Chat soon, chicks - !

A Very Merry Day After Christmas to everyone!

hope everyone had a great Christmas!

I see Tippy slipped in here! it's good to see ya gal! when you have a minute leave a note and let us know what you are up to :-)

Our Christmas was great! it's just been extremely busy around here. I'm sure everybody knows how that goes, but I'll try to get in here more often.

I did do 2 miles this morning with Leslie Sansone gonna cook a roast today and do some things around the house. trying to decide if I should take down the Christmas decorations tomorrow before I go back to work on Friday, that way I can clean house on Saturday. I know I know... I'm always thinking ahead but when you work outside of the house it seems like you have to keep a handle on things. When's everybody taking down their decorations?

ok gang - just wanted to drop in and say HELLO and wish everyone a happy "day after" Christmas

hugs & blessings,
Cathy
