Default I need alittle help.

I am a compulsive over-eater when depressed. This is usually how I relapse from my diets.

Any ideas for low calorie snacks that that I won't beat myself up over if I indulge a bit?

Here are some things I eat when I'm snacking at night for no reason. Lowfat pretzels, 100 calorie pack Hostess Cupcakes or any 100 calorie pack food. Fatfree microwave popcorn, animal crackers, Light Layes Potato Chips or Doritos (the ones fried in Olestra). Lowfat cheese and crackers, turkey pepperoni, graham crackers, hard boiled egg, carrots, celery. I could go on and on. For me the key is to take out a portion of whatever I am going to snack on and put the rest away. There are a huge amount of diet friendly foods on the market today, but my problem is knowing when to stop when I'm satisfied.I hope these helped some.

hey there,

i'm definately an overeater. I snack on weight watchers choc. covered ice cream bars they are 95 cals a peice. I eat granola cereal, at least you can get the sweet and the milk. I eat string cheese a lot, because at least its good protein. Granola bars like smores and peanut butter are abt 100 cals and sometimes if i'm bad i'll eat 4. and even low-sodium lunch meat sometimes at least its protein. When im super hungry i try to at least eat some protein so it will fill you up. and if you wanna be bad a taco bell regular taco only has 170 calories so for fast food that is pretty good. Hope that helps a little ; )

I have found that snacky foods like crackers and chips and cookies or cakes (even the low-fat kind) were just keeping me big. I was totally addicted to Cheez-its, so I started eating cashews and dry roasted almonds instead, for that salty and crunchy snack. Also, Orville Reddenbacher's Light Pop- yummy! I also love the cottage cheese singles now. And vegetable hummus with low-carb whole wheat pita bread- 60 calories a loaf! Good dipping snack! For my chocolate fix, fat-free sugar free pudding- 60 calories a serving!

And when I really want to be bad, Ben & Jerry's 'Liten Up' Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt. It's 160 calories per serving and 2.5 grams fat!!!
