so you are BUSY cathy? metoo, but I am determined to keep my New Year's promise to myself to get back into a daily exercise routine 5-6 days per week. Mama had this huge accident and long rehab...that was 8 months ago, I just coped....and played nurse/housekeeper/psychiatrist/garbageman/chauffeur/pharmacist....

then my only sib. was dx'd w/an *aggressive* cancer last month......I've got too much on my little pointy head.......exercise is something I can control (along with doing it keeps my BP down and makes me breathe).

Joanne boy lady, you've had enuf to deal with especially in the past few weeks. That is heart breaking to hear about your SIL and friend On another note, YEAH your son is getting out !!! will he be staying with you? Its a tough transition but with the Lord by his side, he's gonna be okay. I'm glad you didn't gain alot during christmas...you know it seems that thats where I do most of my damage with weight gain is during the holidays. This year I think I gained about 2 lbs but they are gone... its hard isn't it.

Marbles, OY!!! I'm sorry to hear about your sister...uhhh thats just heart breaking I'm glad though your doing well with your exercising. I'm the opposite... I stink at the exercise but do okay with the food (well some times LOL). When I first got married my skinny minnie DH gained 24 lbs the first year... he really enjoyed my cooking but for his sake I had to stop. So now, 17 years later, I don't cook at all heheheheheheh just kidding. Men drop weight like water so phooooie on them

Hey Leenie - walking is going great on the days I get up and do it . Boys are good - really good. Youngest son is in his 4th semester of college with a 3.9 GPA. I don't know how he does it bec he doesn't seem to study much but figure with a 3.9 he must know what he's doing. Oldest son is good too - better than he has been in years - as long as he takes his Armour Thyroid every day he is good. He's got all the previous psych meds out of his system and is himself and sooooooo much better. It's a miracle in my book

Yea chat use to be soooooo much fun. Remember the old days when the room would get so full that it would start bumping people out of there lol I haven't tried to get in there in over a year - just haven't thought about it - but for some reason I can't even get in there. Just wondered if it was me or the room??? not that I have time to chat....I was just curious why I couldn't get it to work.

Good Morning....Yep staying warm..gonna hate seeing that awful Cleco bill LMAO....still doing my weights and stuff....
Is paula abdul drunk on AI???? i swear she was slurring and her eyes arent focused and she is nutty LOLOLOL..

I'm soooo tired too........(but i did my exercise today) I did not get to sit down until after 9PM...I worked until 7, then home to the starving cats who continued to scold me for being late with their dinner and box scooping and the house was too cold for them.

By the time I got done taking down some Xmas decorations, vaccuumed. changed bed linens, unloaded the dishwasher and started a load of laundry, I was too TIRED to cook dinner, but I did anyway because I was STARVING. I don't think a glass of merlot is a balanced meal............ I made stir-fry chicken breast and veggies with some low-sodium soy and rice vinagar, chili paste (Thai-style)....wrapped in lettuce because cooking rice is beyond my skill.

thanks for the kind words, it's my sib. not my sis.....my bro. had been doing the majority of caretaking for Mama....(that's a novel to type, I just can't today)....now I've just added her care into the mix.

I am the most feared person at school today..........I am configuring final grades that determines the future careers of many, my head is spinning like Linda Blair.....

and I am waiting for BF to call me back to tell me if he is bringing home veal parm, pasta and a caesar salad........(this is a peace offering because he SNORED last night and kept me awake)

I am also contemplating adopting two kittens...Obama and Hilary....although Slim's fur would be ruffled at the thought of sharing space and FOOD.
