LOL cassy - what in the world is "casablanca time"??? glad you got your time zone fixed tho! what ya up to today?

It is raining cats and dogs down here and doesn't look like it's gonna let up today at all. Hope they're wrong.

Yesterday I got a new walking dvd from Denise Austin. I don't remember the name of it but I think it's her only walking video. It has 3 miles on it that you can choose from and do any way/combo that you want. 1 fast mile, then another really fast mile with some jogging, and then a 3rd mile with hand weights the whole time you're walking with LOTS of upper body moves

So I did 2 miles this morning - I did the 1st fast mile and then I did the last mile with 3 lb hand weights the whole time. And boy can I feel it

Liz - what ya up to? lots of work? or are you off for a few days? are the girls back in school yet?

Leenie - I'm so sorry work is crazy. I certainly understand what else ya doing besides work? how ya feeling? how's your eating? any time for exercise? or is it just work work work right now?

Skinny - did you get to do those squats? yikes that is probably my least favorite move in the whole wide world? well that and those stair master things. I've only tried those a few times and I certainly don't like them at all. I'm a whimp what ya doing today?

Wonder if Kemp will join us on the daily thread? it sure would be nice?

Anybody heard from Tippy or LindaT or Cin? guess I could email them in my spare time just thinking about them too and wondering how they are.

ok gang - I gotta try to shuffle some paperwork and accomplish a few more things - hope everybody has a BLESSED day!
hugs,
Cathy

Here I am!

Cathy we are in Katy TX. We moved her at the end of September. I think I am closer to you know that we are in TX.

Skinny where do you live in LA? We just moved from there.

Leens. I think about you guys too. I never stopped the site just only posted on one thread. I guess I let the depression get the best of me. I should have stuck with you guys too. I am sure you would have been able to help me.

We still have not sold our house in LA but we are working on it. I say my prayers everynight and I have not given up yet.

Hi everyone!!!

I'm still here. I had a nice long post for Jan 1st wishing everyone a happy new year and I got told I couldn't post and it went into the wilds of cyberspace
Oh well, So hello all and glad to see its so active in here.

Our Christmas and new year were very quiet. The university has started up already, so I'm back to taking kids there. The other two girls don't start back until the 8th. And of course we are dealing with that wonderful headcold that everyone seems to be getting, boy, is it a doozy.

I've been trying to get on my treadmill again, I did get it uncovered though so that's a good start. It got buried when we moved our bedroom into the addition. Once we get back into a routine I'm hoping things will improve. And I'm planning that when C gets back into judo that I'll walk for the hour instead of just sitting around. So thats three times a week. The club recently moved to a strip mall so I figured I can walk the parking lots, at least its protected and there are lights.

I'm still working on an eating plan. I have major food issues and can't come up with a happy healthy medium. I'm sure one day I'll figure out my plan.

Our weather has been interesting to say the least. We keep getting the tail end of the wind storms and then it goes from freezing to raining. Consequently the road infront of our place is a sheet of ice. I'm getting good at timing the slide so I don't miss the driveway. Thank goodness the main roads are clear and there are no problems where there is real traffic.

Well I should go and clean some fish tanks. Got a roast in the slow cooker and contemplating getting some bread dough made for buns, not sure about that one though, may just stop at the store and buy some, but they make a house smell so nice

So take care everyone and have a wonderful day,
K

Hey all,

Well working 14 + hours and so I'm very very tired. But I do feel better, but our co-worker was sick tonight, that is why we stayed late so he could go home. We plan on taking some time off the end of February and I for one will not feel guilty about it after working EVERY single holiday last year and all the over time we have been putting in here lately.

I hope you all are doing well!
