yay! its december and time for new starts.

Hi everybody! I'm Julie. I'm kinda new to the whole challenge thing but I think this is a fun way to keep motivated.
My goal for this month is 1200 minutes (1 hour, 5 days a week). Gotta keep it up over the holidays.. no matter how busy I get! :carrot: Good luck everybody! My Goal will be to exercise 1800 minutes for the month of December.
:bike2: :ebike: :lifter: :exercise: December 1 - rest 2- 70 minutes treadmill/10 minutes beginning stretching/10 minutes beginning yoga. 3 -60 minutes leisure basketball/60 minutes intense(for me) flag football. 4 -60 minutes treadmill/5 minutes stretching 5 -rest 6 -60 minutes playstation2 dance pad 7 -60 minutes playstation2 dance pad 300 calories 8 -30 minutes treadmill 9 -rest 10 -90 minutes teadmill/30 minutes playstation2 dance pad 11 -60 minutes brisk walk with stroller outside in the cold to the lake 12 -rest 13 -120 minutes brisk walk to park, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and four square with kids/60 minutes step aerobic and ps2 dance pad 14 -90 minutes treadmill 15 -rest 16 -rest 17 -rest 18 -60 minutes soccer tennis and softball with kids 19 -15 minute walk with mom looking at christmas lights 20 - 21 - 22 - 23 - 24 - 25 - 26 -4 hours golf using cart 27 - 28 -24 minutes brisk 1.5 mile walk outside 29 -45 minutes brisk 2.5 mile walk outside/40 minutes outside bike ride with kids/120 minutes yard work, driveway, christmas lights, cleaning garage... 30 -126 minutes brisk walk 6.5 miles outside/60 minutes clean out trailer 31 -130 minutes cleaning driveway, cleaning trailer, loading motorcycles (1800 minutes/1800/0 left to go) I'm so close not sure if i will make it; what else can I add to make up 60 minutes. I'm scraping at this point. Adding stuff I don't normally count. 20 minutes treadmill/40 minutes ditch with my oldest boy and his teen age friend. and believe me they made me run!! LOL Whew I was tired!! |
Hi to all the new people! Well I did 70 minutes of walking on the first and 60 on the second:

Hey everyone, welcome newbies! I am startin' this month out kind of slow, so I set a more realistic goal. Considering how I usually get during the holidays, 1200 minutes is more feasable. Been sick since the first, so I haven't gotten much working out in. WILL work out today, at least 1 hr. Jasmine, you have got some drive in you, I am super jealous!

guys i'm so sick. i cant do anything. and i'm eating so much crap unfortunately.. but i mean. i dont want to eat healthy right now.

eat soup elyn best thing for a cold especially sore throat and it can be low in calories too. Do you need to go to the doctor? I hope you'll be okay. You sound very sick. I'm sorry you don't feel good!!

yeah my mom and i have it bad. thanks for your concern! i need to eat some soup. but after 5 days... i seem to be getting better. atleast i think I am. I'll give an update tomorrow.
and whats worse is that I'm in a theatre show right now, so i go to rehearsal everyday feeling terrible. not good. but hopefully i'll be able to get back up to eating right and exercising soon!! i actually wanted to exercise tonight since i felt so bad... but i couldnt... b/c i felt so bad. haha :) :) |

Walking on the threadmill is great when you're with a friend. I never walked on the treadmill till my BF Nikki joined my gym. Now the time flies by as we gossip and fuss. Add that to my time on weights and I'm getting in even more exercise.

It is great when yu have friends with you. The time goes by so fast!!

I love workingout with someone else!! I have only done it a couple of times this time, but DH and I used to go to the gym together, before the kids. I also like to walk with friends.

I think im going to the grocery store first thing this morning. I want to get some lean cuisines they saved my behind this last week. When I didn't know what else to eat I could reach for a lean cuisine. I try only getting the really low cal ones. They seem to hit the spot. I lost 2.2 pounds this week. Yay!!! Ofcourse I think I did more exercise this week too. (ie..flag football, etc).
