hi challengers!!!!
today is the first rain of the year and man i didn't want to go to the gym, but i did i think everyone else had the same thoughts it was abandoned. besides the employees there was maybe 10 people and the place is always packed. oh well i feel great!
i too have done atkins and calorie cycling.i still calorie cycle but eat whole foods and nothing processed and my body has been thanking me. atkins helped me drop tons of weight but it is not a lifestyle.
i can't wait for thanksgiving! i have to stay focused and no cheat days until x-mas. if i make to x-mas and hit my final gaol i don't know what i would do i also am part of the x-mas challenge and i had a suggestion that would work for thankgiving to. when are challenge is over the monday after x-mas we should post are pics! even if we missed our goal we should post before and after pics. i think that wuld be fun plus it is so motivating to see others progress.

Ahem...well..it is FRIDAY...we are all waiting on pins and needles for a certain someone to weigh in....ahem....I mean I really can't wait to hear this!

Not such a great week for me, haven't been to gym once! I think I can go tonight after supper though. But I did start my 7a-7p day shifts monday and tuesday, had GREAT shifts, on my feet all day, so those felt like workouts. But the eating those days, not terrible but not great. I was hungry alot more. Then on the days off, less activity but great eating. Give or take.

Then last night went to (instead of the gym which is where I SHOULD have been) one of those in home parties, I forget what its called, the one with the dips/ beer bread/ etc...YKWIM? It was FUN, good snacks, too many margaritas, but I like girls nights like that. Probably ate too much there though, but ordered some good stuff. (well yes I did order this Nana's apple cake....it was too good to resist, but I promise I will only make it for a family gathering, not just for us! LOL)

I work the weekend my long days, so usually working keeps away the w/e temptations. How's everyone's week going? What's going on this weekend? Today's payday! It'll be nice to get out of the house a bit, some fall shopping, I love fall candles, pumpkins, apples, cinnamon, leaves...ahhhh.

I know flabbychic where are you?

Friday is my day off this week. I did a stupid thing and got on the scale and I am still stuck at 171-172 I cant wait until TOM is over!!!!!!! I don't know why I did it either I have been doing pretty good at only weighing myself twice a week (monday and wed). I have been working out like crazy... I love doing it which is a change for me, but man I wish I could get the scale down. Since it is TOM my measurements were higher than last week too.
I Need to refocus my thinking. I am in this for a long time, like the rest of my life. The pounds will come off I know they will it will just take time. There I feel better. (well a teeny tiny bit )
This weekends plans are iffy, it is raining today. I want to go running on Sat and Sun with DH. I think we are going to see if "Nana" will watch the kids for an hour so we can. If it is raining though we probably will stay home and ride the stationary bike (not at the same time). Otherwise I work from 2-10 I will get in my walking. I take my pedometer and make sure I walk at least 1000 steps per hour.
As for shopping we are getting stuff for Tommy's birthday party this weekend!!!

i'm here!!!! i woke up late and i had a 9am muscle blast class at the gym so i didn't have time to post...
well started at 159 and now 155. so 4 pounds and 2% body fat gone forever!!!! 10 days 4pounds not bad. it was what i expected so i'm happy. i have always been a healthy eater so i don't have much to detox just really cut out meat.
i am going to stay on the whole foods because i think it will help with my goals. i have to average two pounds a week till x-mas. so i told my hubby last night that if on x-mas day i am 135lbs in jan we will be on a baech somewhere and me in a bikini mexico sounds good to me!

nursemichelle- how ironic i got invited to a home party tonight for something called beauty control. i have never heard of it but i guess it's a skin care line. maybe i will find some good x-mas gifts.

jcatron- get off that scale!!! i did that last month and it was irritating. i waited four day after and got on the scale and a 3 lb loss so you have something to look foward to you know that is not the real number so be patient!

sunday the hubby and i are going to battle of the bay area sf 49ers vs oakland raiders. that will be so much fun. if you watch football look for me on the 50yard line with my big furry hooded jacket i may look silly but i plan on being warm!

4 pounds! thats great! I am getting the book tonight for my husband.
I took the scale out of the bathroom and put it in the basement. I will have hubby go down to get it tuesday night and put it back down Wed night. Out of sight out of mind, right!

Yesterday was a bad day for me. I was moody my kids were moody. Today will be better, No running but we will go for a 90 minute walk before I go to work. I haven't weighed myself either, too much work to go get the scale!
