I forgot to post my weight yesterday it was 173! I am down one more pound:
hi ladies...despite all the work stress i have I will post a new weight tomorrow. It might be lighter than my usual sunday weigh in, so I'll change the ticker on sunday, but I will have weight for you tomorrow

Checking in for Wednesday. I am down to 231, so that is 3 more lbs. Yay! I'll need to lose 11 more to reach my goal. Gee, I hope I make it. See you guys around!

Hello turkeys!
Weighing in at.....the same! 224 again! Can't complain too much, But I've been so good this week. So I should definitely report a loss next week. Only about 7 weeks left in the challenge, and I have 14 pounds left to lose... two pounds a week is not unreasonable. LETS DO IT!
I like to look at weight loss in terms of each ten pounds...Jump for joy when you get "under" , i.e. 229, then the next five are such a struggle, then get a little excited to hit the "homestretch", 224, seems like the last five fly by, then get all excited about the next "under". It helped me to think like that through the 290s, 280s, etc, otherwise the task to lose 100 pounds would be so daunting. Just my mind playing tricks on me to help keep me motivated, small goals, short term, small picture; the big picture is too overwhelming!
Anyone else have any good mind tricks/ psychology they use on themselves?
Been to the gym Monday but didnt make it Tuesday, but did go to the mall, does that count for anything? LOL I did do some power shopping. Not so much walking for any length of time, just shop to shop. And had a pretty naughty supper, chicken parm from a local Italian place, but I asked for it grilled not breaded, and 1/2 cheese, and a potato instead of pasta. Plus that tiny binge Sunday morning (see the weekly chat thread for that slip).
Do you ever wonder if the smallest things are holding you back from losing? Like lately I have taken back to drinking my coffee in the morning, and some when I work my 7p-7a, but I only like coffee with cream (1/2 and 1/2 and don't care for the powdered or the "lite" stuff) granted, I am using LESS (way less) but it makes me wonder....also, I can't seem to stop picking at that damn fall mix, the candy corn, candy pumpkins and peanut mix....sweet and salty. Not so high in calories or fat, but the sugar...
One thing I've always been good at is DRINKING MY WATER! I average about a gallon a day, I take a 3 liter jug to work and usually finish it in my 12 hr shift, plus a flavored water on the side or so, not to mention the several glasses I drink from my water cooler at home (an awesome investment BTW, I even get the refill big bottles FREE from the local spring house).
I posted under Gayles thread in the 100+ club (mixed emotions, something) She was worried about being bumped from her night shift to the daylight 7a-7p and turns out I am going through the SAME thing! Mine is only for one month, four weeks, three 12s a week. I am keeping an open mind on this one though, maybe I won't sleep my days away on my days off, I'll only be eating the typical three meals + snacks a day, not a whole extra meal and more (nibbling to keep awake) and I hope the busier pace makes the day go faster and keep me moving, and maybe facilitate weight loss. The downside is the major inconvenience it is to get the kids where they need to be (day care and on/off the school bus) as my DH works his 7-5:30...Lots of love to the help of my in-laws. Also I'm wondering when I'll be getting to the gym, I won't go after the long shift, it's all you have time to do to get home, eat dinner, help with homework and baths, etc. then go to bed yourself. But if I only work 3 shifts a week, thats 4 days off to work out, not sleep half a day. I start my first day shifts on MONDAY...so be thinking of me.
Enough mindless rambling for now....see you on the weekly discussion thread!
this am's weight 202. I'll change the ticker on sunday

Great job u2girl and holyteror! I am sure you'll post a loss next time Nursemichelle!
I am 171 down two pounds from last week! I wasn't expecting anything at all becasue I had a couple of days with not so healthy food in it. I am still doing well exercise wise, although I do think it is time to start mixing it up a little bit. I Think I am going to start alternating jogging in place and my exercise bike.
shock of all shocks...my usual weigh in...please save this for our wednesday weigh in...
199 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTG holyteror!! How exciting for you!!!!!!!
Anyone know what happened to Mellyann and the chart? Just checking for an update.
Elycia
I don't know how many people are left on our challenge. We haven't heard from many people lately. It may be a good Idea to start a roll call with our starting weight and current weight maybe we should all post on wed.
I know I'll drop over dead the day I hit 199---good for you holyterror! I already plan to take a picture of myself that day holding up the digital readout at the gym (you stand on the scale but you can hold up the readout in your hands, like a small tv screen)....and just keep that picture wherever I see it to keep me motivated.
Weighing in at.....224...same again, 3rd week in a row. I'm okay with that though, lots of stress surrounding the shift change and other worries. Not been exercising, and doing only "okay" with the food. But I have these next 3 days off to kick it back in gear.
Yes let's get a good roll call going, and DON'T be ashamed to stand up and raise your hand even if you're not losing! And PLEASE you guys, stop over in the weekly discussion thread...even if you've fallen off, its NOT TOO LATE! We can get you motivated to jump back in!
Roll call
Hi everyone. No change here, but I have been trying to be extra good. I will continue to do well on my workouts and eating.
Can I have everyone pop on over to the Thanksgiving Roll call challenge Thread? I just don't want to miss anyone, I am going to try to do a chart.
Just leave your name, starting weight, current weight, goal weight. Thanks!
Hi guys---weighing in at 223!!! Woohoo! I finally broke the 224 slump!
