How can we support you and each other in the approach to colder months and food-focused holidays?
Join the November Weight Loss Challenge to set your goal, track it, and meet it -- with the help of a supportive and encouraging group. All the goals will be compiled into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.
This goal helped me transition into maintenance smoothly two months ago. I have always failed at maintenance. So, I'm thrilled that this is working! I want to keep it going through month 3.
November goals: maintain below 83kgs, fill out MFP each day
I missed the mark in October. But looking forward not backwards.
SW: 196.8
GW: 193.8 -3lbs
I’m really hoping for more than that, but I need to start small. I’ll set a second goal if I get there
Sigh. 83.05 is a very annoying number when the goal is to maintain below 83. I had several off-days, but I got back on track on Monday and I'm confident this will be a temporary glitch.
Edited 15-Nov: That got fixed fast! However, I think today's weight mostly reflects dehydration following a visit to my brother's hot tub.

so, a major milestone for me today - I have reached my goal weight !!
it's taken me about 2.5 years, but I've lost 93lb & I'm now a whisker into the "normal" BMI range, for probably the first time in my adult life. obviously I didn't have a clue how much of me there would be left at this weight, but there's still a fair bit of belly, so I'm going to aim for another ~15lb of loss & then reassess then.
I've revised my goals on MFP because I have probably been losing weight a bit too fast for the last few months - I was on 1,500cal/day - which is a 700-900 daily deficit - & an even bigger deficit when I was exercising because I wasn't eating my "exercise calories "on top of my allowance. MFP is now giving me 1,800cal/day which seems a bit more sensible.
anyway, I'm delighted & am going to go & poke another new hole in my belt.
In fact, I started losing weight in early fall and I am very happy that I am already making my dream come true. I've already come a long way, but I haven't fully achieved what I dream of, so I'm still working on myself. And on my journey to the body of my dreams, training, properly selected supplements from Canadian Pharmacy Online, and of course a balanced diet help me the most. More to come!
