A 1.2 weight loss this weeks. My eating and exercising has been the same so I'm guessing the weight is due to the lack of water intake. I have been busy at work so I haven't made a conscious effort to drink any water during the 8 hours that I am at work. Will try to do so next week.

Ange: It's not an unfair assumption but exercising isn't something that I commit to 100% ( or like to). If I feel tired or something does come up, I feel no guilt in missing it. I get plenty of exercising (5 hours of body combat, 20 mile run, and 1.5 hour of resistance training) per week and it's such an integral part of my habit that it will get done regardless of my word usage. My problem has always been my eating and that's something that I'm trying to change to better myself.
Kudos to you for reading motivational books and working towards a happier, healthier you. I myself am a big fan of self help book.

ange82much 04-06-2019 07:54 PM

ha, chub, that's a lot of exercise!! Well done you!
20-mile run? Is that one long run per week or do you do a few? Is that just for general fitness or do you sign up for events etc? And that's a lot of BodyCombat!! Do you mean the Les Mills classes? Or other genre?
Yep, agree that it's all about the diet for me too and I haven't seen anything I can measure from going to the gym daily the last 6 months - I feel better, I like it, I have more energy, am fitter, etc, but can't point to any sort of body-metric and say that it's exercise related. TBH I've only started reading a couple of self-help books when i'm already feeling pretty virtuous, so aren't really trying to 'improve' right now but am interested in defining better why i think I've succeeded this time around and am picking up tips for the future.

So that is a tie for my best week ever, both times to break a plateau. Nice to finally see some movement on the scale this week. I've just about hit March's goal now. If I can keep it up, I may need to set a new April goal, but for now, I'll leave well enough alone.

Not a bad week for me all things considered. I started taking apple cider vinegar this morning b/c my stomach is still bad. I’m going to increase veggies this week too.
Ange - thank you - yes it’s a quiet weekend alright haha.

Had couple of late night binges, but overall it's a good week. Joe

Stuck on 1kg (2lb) yesterday due to some 'normal people' eating choices lol, but expecting that to drop off pretty quick this week.
Spin with Kristy again this morning. My cheeks are still burning from the effort. Turns out she's some sort of skateboard whiz too.

Good luck getting your diet back on track Jenny and sorry to hear about your grandparents

Jeny: should that be 79.7? Or were you holding a pet or small child when you weighed in this morning? Because I'm pretty sure you didn't gain 19 kg overnight :)

Had a high sodium dinner last night and woke up feeling terrible (nauseous). Must have gotten dehydrated working outside yesterday, then the high sodium dinner just put me all out of whack. Powering through it, because my boss is gone this week and I go on vacation next week. But today is not my favorite day so far.

Weight's still up compared with most of last week, but fat% is down, so 'whatever', the scale is entertaining itself and I was back on plan eating-wise yesterday.
Normal working week for me this week so hope to get in a solid few good-choices days.
