Total Loss for Week One:

Really happy with 162 this morning, after 3 days of sinus/tummy issues. Hella stress at work which I won't go into but suffice it to say, my manager just gave me a glowing performance review that makes it all worth it. They asked me to be manager but I declined on the basis of my health and the new guy is great. Plus, today I'm feeling better YAY.

Lacerta: happy late birthday and happy 190 pounds, GUrrrlFRIEND!!! Yes that most certainly vindicates the work you put in during March. Well done, you. :carrot:
Newlyn: I remember TOM days and cravings. It's a challenge. :dizzy:
30Pound: welcome, the more the merrier!
ange: congrats on your new-normal zone. I love your dedication.
beeps: out of town trips don't hurt me on my eating plan because I do low-carb healthy fat and it's so easy to find salads with protein in almost every restaurant. My trigger is if I'm too bored on the weekend. :(
snowmama: congrats on being at same weight as back in 2011!! Hoping your bloat/pain is gone by now.

This back-to-daily weighing and monitoring thing is fun! (Mainly, obviously, because it's going the way I want it to at the mo). Down a teeny smidge today but weekend beckons.
Spin class with Kristy was brutal this morning, but the computer said I did 27km (16.8 miles) which is pretty good for me, for a 45 min class. :ebike:

Yay Follena and Lacerta for good numbers yesterday! :cp: Love it when there's some good news stories!

I'm pretty sure that spin class instructors all spell their name with an i, so her name was probably really Kristi. Also, I've never met her, but I'm sure she's 24 and blond and perky. I hate her. :P

Haha, you're almost 100% correct. I just checked the spelling and it's a 'y', unusually. However, yes she's young, blond and perky. She also short, heavily tattooed, spiky haired, and funny (haha), and comes across as very tough and is definitely a great inspirer and motivator so I typically kill myself in her classes (otherwise she might kill me) :)

Bit of a rebound this morning, but that isn't unexpected. Hope to settle out and end the week in the 190s, but the 191s still makes a 3 pound loss this week.

Down a smidge.
Been out trekking today and had a solid 7hrs fairly fast paced yomp in the mountains. Feeling a bit weary now, but got to rev up and go to the football tonight! Should get a nice lie-in tomorrow though because our clocks change back to winter-time (if only we could tell the dog that...……)

So today, I get to mark off another signature goal. 190.2 is tied for the lowest I've ever been since I started tracking in 2005. Anything lower is uncharted territory for me. Also, almost down to the 180s, which I haven't seen since maybe 2003ish. Just don't know, as I wasn't weighing in back then.

Just 4 pounds away from being able to mark off the 30% lost goal as well, which is an exciting one, too.

No difference in weight today but my flu came back with a vengeance yesterday. Thought I was better. I left the office at noon and now I’m comfy under a blanket on the couch, sipping tea and chicken broth. And my cat is my lovely companion 😊

ange82much 04-06-2019 05:49 PM

wow Lacerta - it's not been a bad week :D
Yep, I weigh less since last July than I've 'ever' been before. I've been down to 118 a few times over the years for short periods, I've most typically been about 135 in general, my start last year at 159 was the highest I've been. I was possibly lower than current one summer when I was 16 as I lost weight during exams then, but otherwise it would've been when I was in my early teens since I was this weight! Definitely possible to do a 'lifetime best' at any age!

Follena - look after yourself and get rid of it quickly. Hope you feel better soon. Bad timing for you to be hit at the weekend too!

Rest day for me, and I feel like I need it. We're off to the Home Improvement Expo which is on at Darling Harbour at the mo, to look at bathrooms, which will drive me to severe boredom in about 5 minutes, so hopefully we can go out for a nice lunch somewhere afterwards to make up for it cos it's a beautiful warm sunny day (the hubster has much more tolerance to shopping/planning etc than me, perhaps unusually, so at least one of us is responsible!)
