    Today, I did 50 minutes of step-cardio and 15 minutes of abs and stretching.

    My feet are sore....I was walking in heels yesterday that have NO cushion on the footbed and that is just SO dumb for me to do like, EVER AGAIN. When I think of my high school days running around in spikes without a care in the world, it AMAZES me. And now, I have to wear frumpy shoes to have comfort. Sigh.
  • Beeps2011: If I can't walk five miles in my footwear, I believe they don't deserve to be called shoes. Decoration, maybe. I can't stand shoes that have no padding at the back of the ankle -- even some walking shoes (looking at you, Ecco brand) have that design flaw. I end up with painful blisters that impact me for a week.

  • agree on the stick to comfy shoes rule!! They don't have to be frumpy though Beeps - there's some pretty funky flats (although maybe more for casual wear as I admit i'm also stuck for a 'suitable' shoe-look for dressing up, but since I don't like going anywhere posh as a rule it's not generally a problem!)

    Well I haven't tackled my targets at all this month really. But I have been exercising quite well. I"ve done 17 gym classes which is down a lot on last month but that's because I've had a week in India and a week in Tasmania this month, so they've all been crammed in to the remaining 2x weeks. I've also been on big full-day treks on 5 consecutive Saturdays this month (including a planned one tomorrow). And i'm still loving it all, which is the main thing.

  • My March Goal is 240 mins. of lifting.
    6th = 30 m
    9th = 30 m (60 total mins.) - snow is still coming down, ugh! Good thing I'm in this challenge.
    12th = 30 m
    14th = 30 m (120 total mins)
    19th = 30 m - 2nd workout using machines instead of free weights, sorta strange and a bit odd lifting with others. I am thankful for the opportunity though.
    23rd = 30 m (180 total mins. )
    26th = 30 m (210 total Mins., 30 to goal)
    30th = 30 m [Reached GOAL of 240 mins. of Lifting]!!!
