Surprisingly, I lost weight over Thanksgiving. Didn't see that coming. But a good start for this round of the challenge.

Perfect! I think I'll jump in on this challenge because I put on 5 after Thanksgiving. Cold weather really makes me hungry and it has been snowing here a lot lately.

(I'm stepping out of this challenge because I had an unusually large whoosh due to water weight being dropped yesterday, and I don't think that's really fair...I will jump in on the next one! :wave: )

I'm really not concerned who loses 5 pounds first ... it's just good to have a place where I can stay accountable. This week has been extremely generous on weight loss because my system is saying WHAT??? NO SUGAR??? I'm losing all water weight. Over the years I've done low-carb for up to six months to prepare for weddings or vacations. But I really want to stick with it in the long term. My plan is probably closest to the Atkins plan, not Keto or Paleo. Keto is too low carb for me and Paleo takes too much work with all the organic stuff. I'm still working full time and Atkins allows me to easily eat out with friends. At the end of the day, we all just find what works for us and that's good. Have a great day OP everyone. Just a fly by today because I have some errands to do. I'm adjusting my goal weight ... seems I had a tremendous amount of water weight which doesn't surprise me since I was eating everything but the kitchen sink before smartening up and going back to my eating plan. Have a great Saturday everyone.
