Ophelia: that's awesome you hit your goal on the nose. Pretty cool considering you're feeling under the weather. I tend to hang on to every ounce of weight when I'm sick. In January you are in the 160s my friend. Ahhhhh how wonderful.
Red: thanks and you are kicking butt too!!!
Lacerta: I hope the muscles in your shins improve. Do you do a lot of walking? I got plantar fasciitis in my heels when I was heavier and jogging. I think my heels were telling me something. But seriously the only way I could get rid of it was with icing 4 Xs day.

Follena: Come join us in the next thread. The way these ones work is once someone hits the 5 pound mark, they make a new thread and everyone resets that weight as their new starting weight and tries to lose 5 pounds again. New thread is at

And yes, I do walk a fair amount, but I think this cramping was potassium related. I've had a problem with potassium deficiency before, and after eating lots of potassium rich foods for the last day and a half, the cramping seems to have gone away, so I suspect that was what was going on. I probably need to get a supplement.
